If your heart is in your DREAM ……… a Aug/Sept 2011, NEW - links to dining/trip report

AWww, I love the "new" picture of the kiss!

Hey Karin!!!!

I can't wait to see your new cars. Wow...you needed a debriefing??

The cost of gas is unbelievable now...I cringe every time I have to fill up.

I wasn't following the wedding at all (could have cared less, personally), but I do love the photo the way Tom made it. :thumbsup2

Congratulations on getting the cars! Gas is 1.68 euro per litre here, for the 'plain' version, not the high octane stuff. ouch! Thankfully I basically only need mine to drive to the train station and back, that is, when we don't have strikes.

I can't wait for pictures! I bet you two look so cute in your matching cars!

Thank you! It has been fun driving around in them - makes for a whole new experience, so many new buttons! :lmao:

Wow! And I thought gas prices were high here! We need the high octane stuff and I nearly fell over backwards when I saw how much it was to fill both cars up!

I hope Tom takes some photos of the cars this weekend! :thumbsup2

I :love:the Magical Back ground !!!!!

Me too! ;)

RULE, Britannia! ;) :thumbsup2

I love that magical background. it is even prettier than the original!

That's what I thought - that's the most magical background ever, even if we had to help them to it! :rotfl2:

Congrats on the cars!

I like Tom's photoshopping! :rotfl:

Thank you!
I think Tom did a REAL good job on the wedding pix! ;)

It's a cute picture of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, isn't it?

I hope Tom takes some photos of the cars this weekend, so I can post them!

We definitely needed someone to explain ALL the new buttons to us ...... and there are A LOT of them in new cars! :lmao:

You didn't watch the wedding? It was ALL over the news here and my pupils and I had a wedding party.
We made sandwiches and strawberry cake and a pupil offered to bring some iced tea and then when it was about to begin we all settled in front of the biggest TV at school and watched and munched!

But I have to say that I really love Tom's photo!

Nope, didn't watch it. Couldn't figure out what all the hoopla was for; they don't show any other royalty weddings on television. I guess I'm just a fuddy duddy (although a lot of my friends didn't watch either).

But Tom does the best with photos!

Hi Karin and Tom, Congratulations on your new cars did I read that right that it cost $240.00 dollars to fill up both cars? If that is true oh my, my. How could you stand it. Hope Tom is able to take some pictures of them this weekend. Either way have a good one and enjoy the cars. Elaine

All the European Royal Weddings are shown on TV here! ;) And since the House of Windsor was a huge part of this years curriculum, it made for a fun excuse to watch the wedding during the school day! :rotfl2:

I'm sure Tom will be pleased by your comment! ;)

Yes, you DID read that correctly - filling up two cars with gas was 240$!! :scared1: And they have regularly sized gas tanks! ;)
Gas is just very expensive here, but you learn to live with it, because that's the way it is. ;)

I have a few things to update here, but it will need to wait until the evening today.
Hopefully I will have photos of the cars too! :thumbsup2

The Royal Wedding was more enthusiastically watched by Judy and the girls:rotfl2:I just hope for Will and Kate it is a good marriage and that the Press leaves them alone !!!:worship:
Karin how many mpg does your car get????? Gas prices over here have finally caught the politicians attention and they are finally realizing if they want to be re elected they better do something !!The last time the prices started heading to wards $5 , they got involved and magically we started to see a decrease !When EXXON posts an 11 billion dollar profit for the quarter and says they are NOT making much on gas !!:confused3;):rotfl2:

FINALLY

there are some news to report ..........

We got our new cars yesterday! :woohoo:

Congrats on the new cars!!!

I am with you, Kathy... I am not even sure exactly what day it was. :rolleyes1

Yay for the cars arriving, can't wait to see pics :yay:

:wave2: looking forward to the update!:hyper:

Update coming up soon! I thought I would have time to do it yesterday, but there were a lot of errands to run and I had to correct 22 4page tests, which was NO fun indeed! :lmao:

I am glad Judy and the girls enjoyed watching the Royal Wedding - nothing better than a bit of British royal glamour in the early morning! :rotfl2:
Were you even able to watch it live? The church ceremony started at 12 noon, so that would have been very early morning for you! :scared1:
And I am with you hoping the press lets them enjoy married live together for a while.

I cannot say from experience what the mileage per gallon is, but I looked it up and the book says that it should run about 52 miles per gallon on average. That would be quite alright I think! :thumbsup2

Congrats on the new cars!!!

Thank you, Ann, photos coming up shortly.

Disney news .......

I have started planning and will soon post the first (few) planned days of our summer trip.
We have decided that we want to do the new Walt Disney: Marceline to Magic Kingdom Tour during out stay!
We won't do Remy and have decided on doing brunch twice on the cruise and maybe two dinners at Palo.
We want to do the wine pairing dinner at Flying Fish too, but haven't made our mind up as to WHEN we want to do it.

So, stay tuned! ;) :lmao:

And I have been out with a friend celebrating her birthday and I did take a few food photos. But I still have to download them and uplaod them to photobucket, so I guess Tuesday will be the day when they will be posted!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend! :goodvibes

Love the new cars and the good luck charms in the cars. :)

Can't wait to hear the updates for the summer trip.

52 miles per gallon is awesome !!!!I think I get about 17:scared1:

Thank you! I will write down how far I get with a tank full of gas and let you know from experience - there is just one thing I am real sure about - it has to drive further than 17 miles on a gallon! :rotfl2:

Thank you, Kathy!
They are really fun to drive and I would NOT drive without my lucky charms! Even though there is a GPS in the car, I need Mickey to always point towards Orlando (he sometimes gets confused, but I just love the thought that he "could" point towards Orlando!)

I will try to update on Tuesday - I still have some work to do for school and would love to update on my trip report too! :goodvibes

Congrats on the new cars! They're really, really nice. :thumbsup2

And congrats on nailing down some details on your Aug/Sept trip. Love it!
