Yes, really scary, especially since this is the one credit card he rarely uses, so we have no clue WHERE and WHEN this theft occured!
But we are both glad that it was caught soon enough!

No fun, indeed, especially now when we are 11 days away from going away and having to use those Credit Cards a lot!

I need to get my ADR's figured out soon, but have been redecorating the family & have not had much time. I think that my time is coming up soon.

We stayed at CSR on our last trip & it was so nice with the redecorated rooms. Wanted to do something different this time & I like CBR alot also.

We had some more flurries today too! But at least it stopped soon enough! I am going out into the garden to look for more snowdrops and yip they are showing up!
Thankfully Tom got the CC issues sorted out. His old card got cancelled and he got a new one! Let's hope there are no more problems!

We stayed at CSR last February and I asked Kathy's advice and she assured me a standard room will be okay. I just needed someone to tell me that - now guess what Disney does - they upgraded us to a "double" water view! We had a wonderful corner room with a view of the quiet pool AND the lake! Now this year we are paying for the water view! Mickey sure knows how to get his hand into my pocket!

As for CBR - have you considered staying in a Pirate Room? We did twice and it was SO much fun! The beds are fun but hard to get around in the dark - I think I bumped into mine more than once!

We went for breakfast so many times and we loved it! I was heartbroken when they closed it.

And I just looked up our trip when we had dinner there and it was in 2006! Well, guess we will stay away, even though I need to drive over there for my fix of Magic Cookie Bars! [/COLOR][/FONT]

I know you already have your picks... but we at ate Boatwrights in September and it was among our favorites. The service was amazing. The entire crew came out to sing for my dm birthday. The song itself wasn't your run of the mill happy birthday either. Dd was in the midst of not feeling well, and our server more than accommodated her. It was a wonderful experience. Now...if my older dd and my mom were not having one of their moments. ... the meal would have been perfect.

First of all, here are a few photos of that picture perfect day we had yesterday. I actually wanted to post them yesterday, but with all those tests, I just didn't get around to it!

And look what I found in the garden! ........ a snowdrop! It's a very early one, but at least it shows that spring is on its way!

What a beautiful day. We have been lucky here this winter... we have had some really nice days. Blue skies... but very cold.

Okay, now on to MORE news! NOT so fun news.
I was enrolled in a course today after school and did not intend to go up to the house to meet Tom.
So, when we had a break I called Tom on his cell and he sounded real upset. I asked what was wrong and now guess this. Turns out he checked his bank account and found a lot of money missing. Since he didn't know where it had gone he started to look at the different booking and found one Credit card had taken more than 1200 Euros (1600$) off of his account! The problem is that he had not used that card in a long time!
He called the CC company and it turns out that indeed there have been even more booking made to his account! He now reported this and yip he will get his money back, but it can be weeks and he had quite a scare!
We have NO clue on how this happened, since he hasn't used the card since November!
Internet crime has hit home!

Okay, hoping that everyone else had a better day!

I think you need to tell the CM that you want a second reservation for the DxDDP. Beware! If you have FD, you might loose it. Have you thought about paying OOP for the rest of your meals if you have FD?

Jen, you are right - I always forget that you need to buy a ticket too! We have APs and get the ticketless package if we don't do FD!

The bumpy road to ADRs!

Today was my ADR day. It was quite a journey to get to my 180 + 10. Here goes.

As most of you know I booked the first part of my stay with Disney.co.uk. Their confirmation numbers are 6 digits, therefore don't work on the US site.
So, like every year, I called Disney uk on Saturday to ask for a number to use for my ADRs. The CM was nice, let me confirm all my vacation details and name, just to let me know that I could now book my ADRs 180 days out and I did NOT need a confirmation number. Excuse me? I told her that I DID need it to access the +10 option and her answer was ..........

"oh, you know about that?"

Then she put me on hold because she had to talk to a supervisor. I was on hold for 25 minutes (long distance! ) before she came back and told me they hadn't figured it out yet, would I mind to hold a little longer! Yes I would!

Another 15 minutes later she came back and told me a 12 digit number. Bye, bye UK lady!

I went to try the number and the system doesn't recognize it!

So I thought I call the Big Cheese himself and called the US reservation line! Here I am greeted with ........ your call will be answered in less than 25 minutes. Hey people this is another long distance call!
After 20 minutes I get someone on the phone, who tells me she cannot pull it up either, but wait, yes she can - the number is correct, it should work right now.

We hang up - I try again and no, it's not working for me! So I call the internet support line.

Anyone still reading?

The lady on the support line is sweet and tries to help, but can't get it to work either!

Yeah, there goes my chance of getting the + 10 option. Then she puts me on hold and gets a supervisor. They figure out it could be "one of those" numbers that only start working 180 days out exactly! Well, I REALLY hope so!

Now fast forward to today.

I was at work and really nervous, punched in the number and voila - pixie dust and my + 10 opened up!
Tried to pull up my itinerary (I use a different netbook at school) and guess what I had saved the one for February on it and not the one for August!
The only ADR I could positively remember was The Wave on Sunday night and that is what I booked right away.
Later when I got back home I booked ALL my ADRs without any problems!

So here is what we have so far!

August 14:
Breakfast at Olivia's Cafe
Dinner at The Wave

August 15:
Dinner at Jiko

August 16:
Mama Melrose Fantasmic Package Dinner

August 18:
Dinner at Le Cellier

August 19:
Dinner at Yachtsman Steakhouse

I still think it was worth the phone hassle - NOW, let the changes begin!!!!

I was so happy it worked today, I didn't even hate myself for mailing myself the wrong itinerary!
And so far I am quite happy with what we got - we want to cut back a little on the online restaurants and venture offsite again! There are a lot of nice restaurants out there!

I would NEVER wait that long on hold with anyone else but Disney! Must be the music they play while you are on hold!

I am really happy with our ADRs! I wonder IF we will change them at all.
