how does that work with breakfast /lunch/dinner reservations?

Can we still all eat together?

Are ressies made by room or by party?

Thanks,

Hi!

When you booked the cruise, did your travel agent or Cast Member (CM) know that you had family in different cabins? If so, then they probably linked your bookings and you all will have the same dinner rotation and table. Breakfast and lunch are up to you. You can eat in a resturant, or out on deck near Topsiders.

Any other questions, just ask!

Ursula

You can have your reservations linked and then you will be seated together for meals. Call either your TA or DCL and they will be able to do this for you.

Marty--sorry-i replied the same time as you!

thanks...

I didn't book yet...we were thinking about getting on the Aug 15 4-night wonder.

It would be 2 adults and 2 kids...I called and the Family rooms are booked. The TA said to break up into 2 rooms.

I am trying to figure out the cheapest way to do that...

1 adult , 2 kids in a cat 05 state room veranha

1 adult in a cat 12 room.

or

1 adult 1 kid in a cat 05

1 adult 1 kid in a cat 12

Hi Charlie.
the Cat 5 with the cat 12 across the hall sounds good. I don't know how old your kids are, but I couldn't sleep with my 6 yr old that far apart. Next 2/05, we're (2 adults, 2 kids) booked in two connecting cat 6 cabins.

Me and DD, 7

DH and DS, 15

I originally booked Family Verandah room for my family of five, but then realized I could get two rooms (verandah and inside across the hall) for same $$. - tempting b/c the family verandah room really isn't that much bigger than a reg. verandah room, and I knew i'd appreciate more space and the extra bathroom. (there's also the divide-and-conquer strategy to getting the kids to sleep at night!)

anyway, I ended up getting two Cat 6 side by side, but that's a whole other story!!

And yes, we are seated at the same table! :earsgirl:

Have FUN!!! :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

DCL will require you to "book" one adult in each cabin. They don't care how you actually sleep. You will pay adult fare for the first 2 people in any cabin regardless of age....so with 4 people, it won't matter how you officially list things. They will also supply Mom with an extra KTTW card, so you have access to both cabins.

They main point about meals is to have your ressies "linked" when you book. That way, you will be seated together at dinner. For breakfast and lunch, you decide when/where you want to eat. If you all want to sit together, you just go to the same place at the same time.

Just wondering why you need 2 rooms for 4 people...most rooms will accomodate up to 4 people. Is this just your preference to have 2 rooms or have they booked all the rooms that can accomodate 4?
