CRT we are booking for lunch. Did the kids like Le Cellier? Is there anyting for them to look at, do? Should I just bring crayons... if we decide on it?
Thanks!

How old are your girls? I may be doing Sci-Fi over Prime Time. We're doing the castle. CP is our first night. My 4 year old LOVES Pooh and I couldn't go the entire trip with her asking when she was going to see him.

My kids ate at Le Cellier and 4 and 5 and at 5 and 6. They enjoyed the meal both times. It isn't heavily themed at all and there isn't much to do - but almost all the Disney restaurants provide crayons and a placemat to color.

One trick at Le Cellier is to decide what you are going to have before you walk in. Then let your waiter know that the kids won't sit through a long meal, so you'll order immediately. Generally the waitstaff will move the food through quickly if you tell them you are time senstive.

Le Cellier has a great kids dessert - the chocolate moose. Its a scoop of mousse made into a moose - with cookies for ears. If you search, there are several photos of it out here. Its HUGE, my kids always split one, and rather inexpensive as I recall.

My 9 yr. old ds likes The Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey's, Liberty Tree Tavern, the Garden Grill ties with Hollywood and Vine (he likes the shrimp at the buffet)

My 6 yr. old ds likes The Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey's, Cinderella's Castle (he liked the fact that he was in "the" castle) and Garden Grill

My 5 yr. old ds likes The Garden Grill, Chef Mickey's, Ohana (character breakfast) and Donald's Breakfastasaurus

I was surprised at some of the answers they gave! :) I guess it helps to ask them what they like!! :) ;)

By far all three of them said that the favorite was Chef Mickey's for dinner (and napkin twirling over your head) :cheer2:

Thank you so much! I didn't know about the fun things going on at Chef Mickey's, napkin twirling? We have it planned for our last night.
Any more? Keep them coming! :cheer2:

She's a little young to talk - but the toddler's favorite restaurant was Chef Mickey's on our last visit. She absolutely devoured the flourless chocolate cake. It was the best chocolate cake I've ever had too - now I'm trying to justify $28 for a (very good) slice of cake...

My DS8 would say Chef Mickey's dinner, Cape May Breakfast, Whispering Canyon & the hamburger at Chefs' de France.

DD5 PSB, Chef Mickey's dinner & the food court at WL.

Now where they ate the Best at Chefs de France & the food court at WL. And DD at PSB. My kids do not eat well at the buffets, I find the kids selections kinda yucky.

I am a child "teen" and I love Trails' End because the food is delicous! Also it takes a boat ride to get over there, and you pass by horses and lots of beautiful animals!
I also personally love Seasons in Epcot. It doesn't have the biggest variety parsay, but there roasted turkey sandwich with muenster cheese and chipotle mayonaise is to die for!! Hope I helped! ~Jessie~

My DS5 said he wanted to do Crystal Palace again. He insists they have the “best” ice cream he has ever eaten. It’s funny the little things they pick out to remember. One would think the characters, but no my little dessert lover remembers the ice cream.

Right after we left WDW last Oct, their answers were

DD9 - 'Ohana, Cape May, Chef-Mickey's breakfast, 50s Prime Time (the last two due to the desserts)

DS7 - 'Ohana, Cape May, 1900PF dinner

DS5 - 'Ohana, Sci-Fi, Chef Mickey's breakfast

Asking them now for this next trip, they've changed it some...guess they hold some longer-term attachment for different places...
DD9 - 'Ohana, Chef Mickey's, Le Cellier
DS8 - 'Ohana, 1900PF, Le Cellier
DS6 - Sci-Fi, 'Ohana, Le Cellier.

Seems they all remember the bread-sticks fondly at Le Cellier, and love 'Ohana for the games (and gummy worms), and shrimp. mmmmm! :teeth:

Depends on if your kids are on the shy side ('Ohana..active, but they can just watch the activity and enjoy that, or participate in a big group...Sci-Fi would be good too), or like to interact with characters/waiters (CP, Chef Mickey's, 1900PF, 50sPT, WCC). Mine were tentative starting the week...then were more and more interactive. Even at the end of the week, they still didn't have the guts to go to the 'kid pit' at Biergarten until their 2nd beer.

(j/k)

Have a great trip!!

My dd loved CRT, mostly because all the Princess' were there princess:
And both kids loved Sci-Fi, it's the only place they're really wanting to eat at again. They had a lot of fun at Chef Mickeys. None of us enjoyed the food there, but the atmosphere was what the kids loved!

dd4 thinks Chef Mickey's "is the bestest restaurant in the whole wide world" It is a tradition to go there our first night and we get all the autographs and photo ops out of the way so we don't have to wait in a 20 person line!!

She also loves Ohana's. She liked the castle breakfast but isn't into princess - she prefers Minnie and Mickey. We have a Rainforest near us so we never go there at WDW.

DS(6) said Chef Mickey, Crystal Palace and Sci-Fi Diner
DD(8) said Sci-Fi Diner and 50's Prime Time

Mine would say LeCellier (she is 5) and Sci Fi
