Reading this with interest, as we are also considering which meals the kids would like.

DD5 and DS3 both immediately answered Chef Mickeys, with Crystal Palace second. Last trip they enjoyed WCC for breakfast, they loved the pony races! We are trying Ohana this trip. Have fun!

My kids would say for breakfast, CM. For lunch Sci-Fi and for dinner, a kids club. They will say "do we have to eat dinner with you again tonight or can we go to a kids club?" LOL We tend to do table service meals for dinner and the prefer to eat fast and play rather than sit nicely at the table while Mom and Dad dine. When paying for their meals, we pay the same amount for an hour and a half at the kids club as we do for dinner for them so everyone is happy. I insist on a few family meals but we do let them do kids clubs a few times each trip!

When I asked him "Why"...he said "because they cook on your table and they have seaweed!"

The reason I'm asking is because I have two girls who will be 4 &6 when we go. I was thinking Le Cellier but not sure if the 4 year old might be tired and not on her best behavior after a long day at the parks.

My kids were 6 and 8 when we went and they loved Le Cellier. I think the key, though, for you & them as well as other diners is to go for an early lunch. They won't be exhausted and much more likely to behave and not disrupt everyone else trying to enjoy a nice meal. We did all of our "nice" restaurants where I wanted to be considerate of others either at lunch time or an early dinner. They loved the chocolate moose and the s'mores desserts at Le Cellier, too!

My kids pretty much have the same list and request the same places each trip.

Sci fi is always the number one choice.
Beaches and cream always number two.
Chef Mickeys number 3
Garden Grill was always a so/so choice. However witht the new menu all have requested that to be one we do often from now on. The vegatarian choice was to die for.
Rain Forest Cafe also a must do.
And Crystal Palace was great last trip.

For DD's 8th b-day trip last Dec we took our princess lover to alot of special dining experiences including dinner in the castle, CRT breakfast with Cindy & friends, PSB dinner with princess's, Chef Mickey breakfast, Ohana which she loved and jumped out of her seat every time they called the kids to learn a hula, Marakesh which was a bummer cause the belly dancer never invited the kids to participate, Coral Reef, ....................and surprise surprise her pick when asked is SCI FI cause she liked the movies and sitting in the car

My "kid" is now almost 17, but her favorite as a little kid was always 50's PT and it's still her favorite - oh, that's not including the McDonald's near the All Stars - THAT's her very favorite.

My dd4 loves Chef Mickey's, PSB (Breakfast only), Liberty tree Tavern and 1900 Park Fair for Dinner with Cindy or Breakfst with the fancy lady (Mary Poppins)

I asked my niece and nephew (ages 4 and 7) this question. They both said California Grill. They liked being able to watch the Magic Kingdom at night with all the lights from the table, watching Wishes on the roof deck, and the HUGE fruit platter the waiter brought them for dessert (my nephew has an egg allergy which made all the desserts on the menu off limits to him).

Yes, California Grill was their favorite this time, but Brown Derby was a close second (the best grilled cheese, according to DS). Their previous visit Rose and Crown was far and away their favorite...we ate there three nights in a row. We couldn't eat there this past visit because the ingredients in the fish and chips are not disclosed and as liamsaunt said, DS is allergic to eggs, so we weren't taking any chances.

Everyone of my kids say Akershus. It is a firm favorite as they are all salad/fish lovers. I love it too - my favorite in WDW.

I just asked my kids. DS 6 said Chef Mickeys. I don't think its for the food. All he eats is the marshmallows out of the cereal. DS 9 said ESPN...hes a sports freak and loves the gift shop, but I know he also enjoys the food.

Our 8 yr old DD loves - California Grill ( that's my girl- exspensive ) while the 4 year old DD loves Liberty Tree Tavern at MK.

We are in the midst of planning trip # 4 and DD8 still talks about the CG dinner we had on our 2nd trip. Waitress was wonderful - sat us by the window so we had a view of the fireworks during MNSSHP, gave the girls crayons and told them to color on the tablecloth and then brought them a basket of goldfish crackers. Our little princesses loved that our waitress catered to them.

We were the special family at LTT. My youngest daughter remembers the big to do the cast members and characters made over us. Plus she thinks they made the best mac and cheese.

This was during lunch at the Castle! I heard that they've changed the menu recently though... I'm curious if it's still on there...
