If you were to ask your young children what would they say was the best place to dine and why?

My kids (6 and 11) love Rainforest Cafe (DTD) Chef Mickey's and O'hana...for the food and the atmosphere.

For food in the parks, they like Pizzafari, the counter service in Mexico at EPCOT, and Alfredo's in Italy.

Mine would say Sci-Fi, Whispering Canyon, Chef Mickeys, and 50's PrimeTime.

I just asked mine.

CHEF MICKEY'S!!!! was the response.

characters, high energy fun. Good (though daddy would add unspectacular) food.

"Chef Mickey's" !! My DD loves this place for the fun atmosphere, loads of characters, and great ice cream bar! :goodvibes

DD6 said her favorite is Spoodles. DS4 couldn't decide between Crystal Palace and Jiko! :confused3

My DD 4 said Chef Mickeys - Cos of the napkin dancing and there are lots of characters. Crystal Palace - cos the food is lush and Tigger danced with her. 1900 Park Fayre - cos she loves Prince Charming and it gave her a chance to "dress up " in her princess dress.
hope this helps........

DS(9)-Epcot-China CS :cool1:
DD(9)-Epcot-Germany Biergarten :cheer2:
DD(8)-Epcot-Coral Reef

I just asked and these were there picks.

DD7 said Ohanas and Crystal Palace (breakfast). She likes Pooh and she also likes buffets because she is old enough and capable enough to help herself now.

DS5 said in the tall white hotel, I am assuming he means Chef Mickey's or Concourse Steak House, he likes the monorail.

They both said CRT, because they like the chocolate crown on the sundae at the end of the meal (we had lunch).

Sci Fi is a favorite with both our kids.

Last trip was the first trip to Sci Fi. They also requested "the restaurant with the chocolate moose" (Le Cellier) and "the restaurant where they cook in front of you" (Teppanyaki). They were 6 and 7 last trip.

Hoop de Doo was my DD8 top choice because it was SO much fun, great entertainment and really good food.

Her 2nd choice would be Le Cellier.... great food and awesome food choices.

DD 10 says WCC, Sci-Fi and Germany! She loves those places.

Thank you all and your kids! Any more keep them coming!
The reason I'm asking is because I have two girls who will be 4 &6 when we go. I was thinking Le Cellier but not sure if the 4 year old might be tired and not on her best behavior after a long day at the parks. I was thinking instead of Le Cellier Whispering Canyon or Ohana. I was also planning on Prime Time but now thinking Sci Fi may be more fun for their ages. My 6 year old's best frined said she liked Sci-Fi better then Prime Time.
Let's face it, if the kids aren't happy the parents aren't. :)
Again thank you all!

We've been going since they were 6 and 9 - but the favorites remain:

Chef Mickey's(DD - 9)

Crystal Palace(DS - 14) - but Hollywood & Vine's chocolate cups filled w/

vanilla mousse gave him pause!

Just asked DD8. Her choices--Akershus lunch and 1900 Park Faire dinner. Why? The food, primarily. (Yes, she really likes the Norwegian items) but the princesses and Cinderella's mice are nice too.

CM because of the buffet and characters :sunny:
Sci-fi because of the dark and the movies also they love the idea of sitting in a car...

They love CRT because of the Princesses. But their all time favorite is Chef Mickey's. They enjoy a buffet so this meets that need as well as the character interaction. They also enjoy spinning their napkin in the air and singing and dancing.

Here's my 'results':

ds(10)- Hoop de doo (Our faces hurt from laughing sooo much! :rotfl2: )
ds(7)- 50's Prime time (we had a very playful server :rotfl: )
dd(5)- CRT princess:

Hubby's was Le Cellier :sunny:

Hope that helps!!!
