If you were spending $5000 on a Disney vacation...

I'd spend 3 days at the CR, CL, 14th Floor Tower, MK view. That takes care of the 5,000.00.

How would you spend it? What time of year would you go? Where would you eat? How long would you stay?

We are spending at the moment $6000 approx - so I guess i qualify to join in with this one!! CSR for 10 nights and HRH for 5 nights - if we wanted to stay at any of Deluxe you could probably double this!!! Spending money for 3 of us - about $3000!!

That's why we only visit once a year

We each (2 adults) took out $250 for spending money for 5 days and wound up with $50 left over...

This included a night of partying at Jellyrolls, paying for our towncar, at least one sit down meal a day including Boma for dinner and room service at AKL.

$0 to stay because of DVC
$350 for food
$4,500 left for Jellyrolls
That would be a wicked great week at Jellyrolls!

What is Jellyrolls?? A bar??
You'd think all the time's Ive been to DW, I don't know what the heck it is.

Jellyrolls is a bar at the Boardwalk. It has dueling pianos. It's a great time.

Before we moved here in June, we NEVER spent that much $$$ at WDW and always stayed on-site for at least 7 nights! I prided myself on "Doing Disney for less than $1000/week for a family of 4 (we had tickets already)"

If I were to spend $5000, I think I would stay in a moderate or value hotel but stay longer---until the $$$ ran out.

I think last year I tried to figure it up...we stayed at Pop, 7 nights, 7 day park hopper w/ water parks. We payed for everything else. After character meals (EVERYDAY) and not having a care in the world...go ahead and add in the lodging and GA$ to and from and we came real close to spending $5000. We work hard all year to be able to do that, and we enjoy every minute of it!
