Our go-to dinner places are Blue Bayou, Big Thunder BBQ and Carnation Cafe. Blue Bayou is always our favorite. If you're starving Big Thunder is the place to go for all-you-care-to-eat ribs and chicken. If you time Carnation Cafe right, you can ask to sit outside if tables are open and watch a parade go by on Main Street. We like the food at all of them.

I think I would go BB or Plaza cant go wrong with either the ambiance in BB is just so good!

I have to agree with Blue Bayou. Some of the food is hit & miss, but I've had some things I've LOVED there. And as others have said, the ambiance can't be beat. We also really like Big Thunder BBQ. In DCA, I'd say Carthay Circle.
