If you were landing at 9:00 pm, would you put ME tags on?

I'm debating with this decision. I'd most likely get a knock at our door at midnight with our luggage, so I'm thinking we claim our luggage ourselves, but thought I'd throw it out there. What would you do, tags on or off?

We were supposed to land at 9:45 pm so I didn't use the ME tags because I was afraid of the 1 am luggage delivery possibility. I was glad we made that choice because our flight didn't land until 11:30! We have kids so we knew we would want to get checked in and asleep for the night. So, it all depends on your situation but a flight delay is something to consider.

You can ask the front desk to hold your luggage until the next morning if you don't want a late night knock on the door. (And it would be more like 1:30 am rather than midnight, because they're supposed to deliver your luggage about 3 hours after you check in, not after you land.)

Nope. If I'm due to land at any time after 7pm, I don't tag my bags. I just get them myself. I figure that if I land on time at 7, I won't get to my resort until close to 8:30, which means my bags may not get to me until 11:30. And later than 7? Way too late to get bags.
Yes, I know I can tag them and then let Bell Services and the front desk know to hold the bags until the next morning, and then hang out the 'privacy please' hanger on the door, but I just don't want to worry about them. I prefer to have my bags so that I can get settled in and then go to bed.

Yes, I'd put the DME tags on no matter what time (during luggage hours) my plane is scheduled to land. I'd have everything I need for the first 24 hours in my carry-on, and would let Bell Services/Luggage Assistance to hold my checked luggage until morning.

Ok thanks everyone. I've decided I don't want to wait till the next morning to get my luggage, I'll leave the tags off.
