OK...need some advice. My DH and I are headed down to Orlando for a few days w/out the kids. I need some help on things to do without them. We are going to La Nouba...something we have always wanted to do.

Any other ideas? any good spa recommendations? restaurants? activites?

what about boutique shopping? Winter Park? any other ideas?

Thanks.

The Canyon Ranch Spa at the Gaylord is world-class and IMHO the best in the area. The shops in Winter Park are OK, IMHO not worth the trip. Milennia Mall has some nice retailers to check out, and is a LOT closer.

Book dinner at Emerils and V&A's or Bistro de Paris.

Play a round of golf on one of our many golf courses--there are a lot of PGA rated courses that are half the cost of the WDW courses in the area.

Go antiquing in Mount Dora.

Visit downtown, have a relaxing lunch at one of the restaurants around Lake Eola, then visit the Colonial town area with it's cobblestone streets. Visit Lieu Gardens.

I'd go to Seasons 52 restaurant for sure and maybe check out Celebration -- DH and I always want to do those 2 things but have 2 small children with us!

I have always wanted to do the monorail run. Having a drink and appy in all of the resorts and to really be able to enjoy the atmosphere. I love spending time with my family but it would be extra secial with just the adults.
