...here's a good spot to stake out to watch the parade. Just outside the main street icecream shop there's a junction which is cordoned off to allow pedestrians cross. If you sit just inside the cordon (i.e. the cordon is running alongside and infront (or behind you if you're sitting on the curb), then Mickey's snowglobe will stop just a few feet in front of you. The 'animators' riding the bicycles will then choose some kids from the crowd to play with the 'brooms' and become 'honorary mouseketeers'. We sat there and it's exactly where the animators on the bicycles stop. They pulled my 4yo out and while he did get stage fright, he loves telling everyone he was in the Disney parade!

We were there a few weeks ago and it was always fairly easy to get a great viewing spot on Main street up to 20 mins before the parade started (in comparison to Frontierland which was always mobbed). I know you need to wait a bit longer, but the views were definitely worth it.
