If you want RBT Breakfast or Beignets (anytime)...go early

Just back from my first solo trip. I had a great time, and was able to get a lot done...even with the holiday crowds.
What surprised me the most was that the RBT each morning had a line extending out of the restaurant, and towards Adventureland. This was the case each day I was there (12/10-12/12), and it was busy all morning long.
What else I found crazy was the beignet line was consistently half way around the French Market EVERY time I was in the area...and it started right away in the morning and stayed that way throughout the evening.
I imagine it is due to the holiday beignets and the fact RBT will no longer have breakfast next month. Just wanted to give a head's up in case anyone has these items on their list for the next month.

Yes, the line for beignets was crazy- I never got them! :(
I was hungry for a snack on Saturday because I was going to meet a friend in DTD for lunch, so did not want a full on meal. I though a beignet would do the trick. I saw the line was huge (like it had been the prior two days anytime I came across it), and had to settle on a churro instead. I was hoping the beignet line had some sort of reprieve, but no such luck. Thank goodness the churro cart had just opened up for business.

Same here! we were looking forward to tasting the candy cane beignets, but that never happened because of the crazy and (especially) super slow moving line! We did, however, have an excellent beignet breakfast at DTD one morning before DL opened. Yum!

We were there on 12/5 - 12/7 and the beignet line was crazy! On the last day we were walking by and it was only about 5 people deep. I jumped in despite the fact that we really weren't that hungry. Really enjoyed trying the candy cane ones.

I love the beignets in N.O.S, but if the line is out of control, I'll hop on the Monorail and head over to Ralph Brennan's Jazz kitchen and pick up a bag from there. I love to shake them up in the powdered sugar, and they always come out hot. The ones at N.O.S as delicious as they are, always seem to be a little lukewarm.

I agree that going early is the best bet! I stopped by earlier this week about 90 minutes after the park opened and the lines weren't too bad yet (only two groups in front of me). By 11:00 am, the line was almost to the train station exit.

Yes...part of the reason the line is so long at the Mint Julep window.
