What happens?

We have been on two cruises since Covid, September last year, and January this year. Both were short cruises, and the two coming up are 4 and then 3 nights.

However we are on the TA in September, and I read that Bermuda is quite cautious about entering their country. That’s giving me pause, and it is a long cruise.

What happens if we test +?

The individual who tests positive will be quarantined. I believe they are still using a few rooms on deck 2 (and maybe deck 5?) for quarantine. My understanding is others in the party who are fully-vaccinated have the option to quarantine with the covid+ individual, but it is not required. If a child tests + then at least 1 parent must enter quarantine with the child.

FWIW, testing onboard only seems to happen if symptomatic and you report to medical. The exception is testing of unvaccinated guests on the last full day on cruises of 5+ nights.

Because we have to test onboard before going to Bermuda. We will get tested… I am concerned and regretfully we are going to cancel the TA.

I think it’s a smart move.. We sailed on the Dream on 5/9, 4 night cruise. We never got off the boat. Many people reported getting Covid post cruise, myself included. I wonder if there were cases on board because daily we got notifications to report any types of sickness, etc.

No. Symptoms worsened as time went on. Really affected my breathing. Been out of work for 3 1/2 weeks. Go back to work next week finally. We were fully vaccinated with one booster. Pretty sure this was Omicron.
