or send another email to cancel it or leave a message in the office that you canceled it.
I came home and rechecked the email (that I had already double checked before I left)-- Yearbook Committee meeting, 9am, Thursday, School Cafeteria. I showed up about 9:10 (I am always late), no meeting. Secretaries have no idea what I am talking about. No email sent to cancel it.
How hard is it to send an email? Or to call the school and say "If anyone shows up I have had something come up" I even told the person that I was coming to the meeting.
The fact that I spilled my coffee (with Peppermint Mocha creamer!) all over my car on the way back home made my bad mood even worse.
