If you Rode Forbidden Journey...POST HERE! :) (Spoilers)

You know the music im talking about...the one at the beginning and end of the movies...the bom badom bom Babom....HA, I dont know if you can get that...I can't really put it into words....ahah, I am actually laughing at myself trying to describe it in words...funny...as I was writing this I switched the channel to ABC family and the Order of the Pheonix was just starting...perfect timing...the whole house is sleeping and it's in HD. Must be a sign. LOL.

Anyways back to the music, maybe I was too excited and looking for details to hear it. Like I said I was very overwhelmed trying to take it all in. I knew I was limited for time.

What she said!
Did you all do the rest of US/IOA?
My kids were so crazy about WWOHP that they didnt want to "spoil it" by doing the rest of the parks!!! I'm not even kidding!!!

I did the first day, I lingered until about 11:30 am on Friday, and my husband went and brought the rest of our group from our resort over and we stayed in IOA until about 6 pm. We had FOTL passes and they were worth thier weight in gold!

I am 6'7" 310 pounds played college basketball size 54 chest and was able to ride hulk and DD but sat it the larger seats. Just saying plus size doesn't have to mean flat. I am not the average size. That being said, I hope i somehow fit this ride because it seems great, but if I don't, I still will enjoy the WWoHP. Thanks for the posts all!

I hate roller coasters and log flumes but like dinasaur and soaring so will I want to ride FJ? If you stop at a locker will it delay you very long in getting in line?

I'm pretty sure you will be too tall to ride this. You are over the height limit for HRRR at US.

i have issues because torso is long and so pull over is tought sometimes. like on hulk.

Do you like Simpsons and Spider man? It's more like that I think. Anyways with the lockers, it does slow you down, HOWEVER depending on lines and if FJ is running properly then it might not make the difference its just that with the craziness every second is going to count I think. Pack smart. :teacher:

Here is a pic of the green house queue, you can see it's open air and there is a fan in the upper left hand corner of the pic. I am assuming it's not A/C'd because it's a green house, they are supposed to be hot, and it wouldn't be in the movie, so they tried to stick the theme as much as possible? Just a guess.

Pats Dragon

I think that if you love soarin and dinosaur, you will love this ride. I would travel light and head for the ride line. It seems to break so better improve your chances as to ride it by not delaying in getting in line.

We were lucky on the first day. There was a line even though they were not letting anyone in yet....we got in that line just before they let us into the castle and we moved right along through the castle line at a walk and rode the ride.

We shopped a little bit then got in line for a second ride and then it broke before we rode. I have to say that I really enjoyed it...it all was thrilling for me and my family.

We bought wands for each of our boys (the "wand picks you" was for one person of the room full), a t-shirt for each, a choc frog and jelly beans. My son has been trying them...even ate the fish flavored one. Yuck. There were some good looking white owls.

From watching Ellen's show....we had some post cards ready to go that they put a black stamp on (not postage but the cancelling kind) and we dropped in the mail box. They said it might take a couple of weeks to be delivered.

That's just dumb. Who cares about a greenhouse being accurately hot? "Oh wow honey, can you believe how authentic this greenhouse is? It's actually HOT! I'm so glad they didn't ruin it by making it comfortable to stand here!"

Since the greenhouse is open air it wouldn't make sense for them to air condition it -- the massive fans should be enough to keep air circulating and is no different than what I've seen in other outdoor queue sections of other rides at multiple other theme parks. I don't think it had anything to do with being "authentic" :goodvibes

So its outdoors? That makes more sense. Still, you can blow conditioned air into it, right? What's the difference? Its running all day in an enclosed building, you can run it all day in a moderately enclosed area.

Would a woman that is a size 20 fit in the seat?

Why would someone air condition an outdoor area and waste energy? The fans are enough.

How does it waste more energy than if it were indoors and they ran it all day? It's the same. If the greenhouse is more outdoors than the pictures indicate, that's one thing. But if it's fairly enclosed, you might as well blow cold air in.

It is pretty open -- about the same as the big queue at ET. There will be some AC blowing out from the double doors to it but I don't think they would be able to keep it cool.

I'm not sure of the mechanics, but it's definitely a waste of energy, for the same reason you wouldn't run air conditioning in a car that had the windows down.

Here's a reply to a couple of questions posted earlier:
Yes there is a child swap right before the loading area; I assume this would also be the "chicken" exit. This is where we were led to exit when the FJ was down and they let us tour the queue.

Here is a picture of the sign to the child swap courtesy of Felipe from Orlando United:
