To be perfectly honest, and by no means degrading or synical or any other mis- interpuritations because its different for every one....No, it didnt live up. There are a few things that missed for me personally. I am not saying that I didn't love it and that I cried once I got in, Im not sure if it was more for the fact that I could say I got in, or for the beauty or a combination of factors. But to be blunt, it missed a few marks. My marks being, I didn't see a good interp. of characters like Malfoy, I expected there to be a little more creepyness to the back alleys, size. It's very small, smaller than all the lands I think, merchandise it was limited. I was looking forward to more shopping. I didn't even hear the trade mark harry potter music....and if they played it I must have missed it because I was listening for it. I thought that they could have done much better with Hogwarts express...it would have been neat to have it move around like disneys train at Magic Kingdom.... I would have liked to have seen some characters that looked like death eaters, wizards etc, that would have given it more of a different world theme. Maybe I personally lack there because with the snow capped roofs, I live in Maine, snow is the last thing I want to see in FL. I was hoping for more walk through area in the castle, and to actually be able to sit in the great hall. I know these things were probably things that would or have been discussed while planning and I understand things cost money. So overall my biggest let down was lack of real connection to the books. No mention of Snape, Prof. Mcg. Luna, Fred or George nothing really except forbidden journey and the small section at Filtches that mentions Voldemort or Belatrix...but that's my honest personal opinon. Now for all you who think I am putting it down, I am not. They worked hard and it will be a fun experience for HP fans. I am just hoping for a little more, call me greedy I guess.
