If you rent a car through Priceline or Hotwire

how do you get a second driver's name put on the agreement? It looks as if you can only have one person drive.

MY understanding is that it is one driver per car for Priceline or Hotwire. If you want to add a 2nd driver, you would have to contact the rental car company you won through Priceline or Hotwire and request a 2nd driver and likely have to pay an additional charge (probably even if that company allows a 2nd driver at no charge for its booking directly with that company.).

Any of the companies that Hotwire/Priceline deal with will allow you to add a second driver at the time you pick up the car. But you will be required to pay for the second driver at the time of pickup. I think most agencies charge around $10.00 a day per additional driver.

Discounts/codes for free spouse, etc won't apply as it is a Hotwire/Priceline rental.
