If you purchased Memory maker with your resort package do you have to activate it?

We purchased MM with our resort package (room & tickets) and it shows up on MDE. Do we need to do anything else or do we just have our MB scanned when we get our pictures taken? I wanted to make sure that I didn't have to do anything to activate it.

We bough MM through the MDE website and linked it to my room reservation. When we checked in, it was already linked to our magic bands and we were able to use it right away!
