Fantasmic! or Illuminations?

I chose Fan because I have seen Ill many many times and the one night we had PS for Fan, it got rained out. SO, i haven't seen it yet.

I voted for Illuminations, and while I still long for the old version, it's still a pretty good show. I was, to put it kindly, less than impressed with Fanstasmic.

I picked based on how the shows make me feel when I'm walking away. Fantasmic is a cool show and I feel good afterward, but when I finish watching Illuminations, I feel so uplifted - like the world is a good place and I'm happy to be part of it.

For me, hands down, Illuminations. I do like the DL Fan better than WDW, though seating, or the lack of it it, at DL, is a bit tough. Good show though.

There's just something so "Disney" about that boat full of Disney characters at the end of Fantasmic!

I voted for Fantasmic because I have not seen it yet.

I love Illuminations and see it several times each trip.

Hard decision! If I could only see one and I had never seen either, I would have to go with .... Fantasmic!

I think it is because it is pretty unique. It has a more of a story that is followed, the spray of water with film clips is just pure Disney-lover amazing. If you love the characters, you have a great chance to see little-seen ones. Mickey is there! You can do the dinner package, and that gives you a better chance for a seat. You are seated the entire time and there are some entertainers wandering around while you wait. Sometimes when you get a great spot at Epcot for Illuminations, a rude person or family will come up and stand very close, shoving in as you stand.

That being said, we love Illuminations, and I would watch it if at all possible.

I have to go with Illuminations. Don't get me wrong, Fantasmic is not bad at all... I think a little over-hyped for what it is, though. Illuminations still continues to impress (and you don't have to sit on a metal bench for 2 hours in order to get a good seat)

Even thought I LOVE Illumunitions I chose Fantasmic because I love the music and it gets me into a real Disney beat for some reason.
