Standard view and Boardwalk view rooms, how would you compare the two views for the EPCOT fireworks?
Now that the Boardwalk view is guaranteed, I'm considering booking the Boardwalk view instead of a standard view. We'll be traveling with my nephews (ages 4 and 8, and both love fireworks) and thus I expect to be in our room by 9 p.m. more often than usual.
It's no big deal if we can't see the fireworks, but I wouldn't mind trying out the BW view at least once. It's kind of hard to "give up" those extra points, though! OTOH, we may try for VWL at the 7 month mark to be close to the MK, so we could very well be spending the "extra points" anyway. We plan to visit in early December, 2004.
So what is your opinion - is the fireworks view from the Boardwalk view rooms a lot better than that from some of the standard view rooms? (I know not all standard view rooms have a view of the fireworks).
Interested to hear any and all opinions - Thanks!
