Can you share with me what you ordered? And how was it?

How much are there soft drinks/tea/lemonade?

This is our first sit down restaurant when we get there and everyone's excited about T-Rex :)

I ordered the nacho appetizer, and it was HUGE! Good, but expensive, & service was sloooow. Wouldn't keep us from going back though.

DD and I went a few weeks ago. We got french onion soup (at DD's request), I had a cheesesteak sandwich, and DD had dino-shaped chicken nuggets. She also had the big slushie in a souvenir cup. I think it was $6.95, but it was our first day and DD is all about slushies in cool cups!

The food was totally fine, if not the best ever. The experience is priceless. And DD LOVED building a dino ...Tink! hehee

Great minds think alike. ;) It was 7 out of 10 for me. I enjoyed it but I'll get something else next time. Not an "OMG, I wish I was at TRex right now eating that cheesesteak!" :rotfl: Can't go wrong with it, though!

We had dinner there last Thursday. Two of the adults in our party had hamburgers and said they were good. I had the cheesesteak and enjoyed it. All the adults had the cotton-tinis and they were AWESOME! They were $9.95each, but worth it.

Nachos are huge, enough to feed a party of six :confused3

I had the steak a couple of times which was very nice and DH had the ribs which he said were fantastic.

Service was pretty quick.

We ate there a couple of times, the atmosphere is great

We had dinner there on Superbowl Sunday.

DD & I had split the Nachos appetizer (about $13.99) as our meal. Loved it!!

It was huge, but would not be enough for 6 people....at least any six that I know.

Service was veryyyy slow. It took almost an hour for the food to come out.

I got the pterodactyl salad and it was no good. The chicken was really gross, didn't appear to be breast meat, just chunks of whatever. The lettuce was difficult to eat as they were really small shredded pieces that you'd find on top of a fast food burger.

DH, our younger niece and I think FIL had burgers and both enjoyed. MIL had a chicken sandwich, she enjoyed it. Older niece had fried shrimp and liked that too. I tried some of DH's waffle fries and they were excellent! They are by far the best fries in Disney. I'd stop in for some next time;). I can't remember how much the drinks were, but the unsweetened iced tea was good, it definitely tasted like real fresh brewed tea, not like nestle or bottled lipton, etc.

The themeing is great, especially if you have kids, they'll love it! The ice cave is fantastic, we didn't sit in there, but went to visit.

I had appetizer sampler for my meal and it came in a tower three dishes high. Was sooo much food but good. Both DD and Ds had the salmon and said it was very good. We finished off with the chocolate extinction, it was to die for. Brownie, ice cream, the works, very good.

Does this restaurant offer any kind of discount (ie. tables in wonderland, DVC, etc.)?

DVC members get 10% of their entrees. I couldn't use the discount because DD & I shared the Nachos Appetizer. It's ONLY good on entrees.

I got lasagna. It was VERY good. I don't remember how much it was but I do remember being pleasantly surprised at the prices.

We're from the UK and believe me the size of the portion is equivelent to 6 servings of a starter of nachos over here!!! So if you are from the UK be warned dont order the nachos to eat by yourself, you'll be there forever

Wow Shannon your dd looked as if she enjoyed herself I'm sure my DD 8 will enjoy it too, especially that huge slush. We are going on our second night in May. Bit concerned about the noise though is it really noisy when the meteor shower starts. As my DD doesn't really like loud noises, hopefully she will enjoy the whole atmosphere

We just ate lunch there Sun, 3-15. It was very good. I had the 1/2 chicken with baked beans and waffle fries, $20. DH had a HUGE burger, can't remember the name, with fries, can't remember the cost. DD15 had the steak with mashed potatoes and veggies and DD10 had the fried shrimp and dino nuggets. We also had the extinction for dessert. It was all very good.

The service was a little slow especially since we were there at 11:30 a.m. and many open tables. Had to wait for about 45 mins. for the food. The kids really like the atmosphere, though, so no problem waiting for us. We were in the ice age room, very neat (okay, I wanted to say very cool but thought that was a little hokey).

My girls both got stuffed dinos, too. Each one got a dino and one outfit each, one had a speaking box in hers, with tax, it was $70.

You can make a reservation at T-Rex, but you have to call them directly. You can up to 180 days in advance. I don't know the answer to the other questions. If you would prefer a quieter (not quiet, quieter) room ask for the back room. We enjoyed ourselves very much, I especially liked the Triasic Tuna appy.
