Changing your ressie? we want the same dates, same hotel, dieeferent room category. is this possible? anyone have luck with it? thanks!

I had no problem getting the same room, same resort at 20% off our original price...I did this yesterday.

Good luck!

My Mom got a pin code so I was able to use it for three of our rooms for our Grand Gathering. I was able to keep our resort (BC) although I've been trying to get either an AP or pin code rate at YC to no avail.

It didn't really save me any money over the AP rate, but I was going to buy an AP for one person in each of the other three rooms (we already have APs for our room) so I am not able to just get them the MYW tickets, saving a few hundred dollars.

We were able to make it a package, even though the pin code just said the price of a moderate resort. HTH.

let me clarify, i got a 40% off code that expired march 31. will i still be able to switch room categories?

This is considered modifying an existing ressie so it is allowed even though the code expired. They will let you as long as they have rooms left in that category that were avail. for the 40% off. Apparently, they only put aside so many rooms at each resort that could be booked with the code. I have been trying to add a night at the beginning of our trip (still in the dates allowed) and nothing yet. I have been told to keep calling back to see if anyone has canceled.

Good luck!

thanks for the help guys. we were able to switch room categories, but we had to switch dates as there was only one week available with a garden view room still left, but we are all good now, thanks!

Heather, did you just call CRO or another phone # to do this? I asked you about this on the GF thread too. We booked with a PIN code that expired March 31 and we are considering a change and wondering if it's possible. Our trip is in Sept.

Thanks:thumbsup2

Steph

steph sorry i didnt see your ? on the GF thread!
yes we just called the regular dinsey number. apparetnyl each resort bloacks out a certain number of rooms per room category for teh code. for our original dates, tehre were no GV rooms available, but for teh 10-17 there were, that was the only 7 night period in sept. they had a GV for with the code, so we jumped on it! there were no other issues at all! good luck!
oh we also switched to deluxe dining!

I just got a pin code from Disney Destinations that offers a great rate on values, moderates, and Disney Deluxe villas through Aug 2. I am going to the Poly in July. I have my travel agent seeing if it will affect my rate at the Poly but, with my luck, I highly doubt it!!!!

We are booked at Pop for 12/11-12/15, in a standard room but needing a preferred. I thought that calling on the hopes that someone would cancel would be the thing to do, but I was finally told very specifically that only a certain number of rooms and room types for each discount type are available -- once they're gone, they're gone. And that even if someone holding a preferred room with the same discount code as us were to cancel, that room would go back into general inventory at full price, and not be available to us with our discount code.

I personally think that stinks, and would LOVE for someone to tell me that that CM just didn't know what she was talking about!!
