If you had to skip one park for FP+ which one would you pick?

I have 4-day base tickets and planning to do 5 days at the parks (AK, MK, Epcot, MK, HS). Plan is to upgrade after I go into the first park.

Since I can only do advance Fast Passes for 4 out of the 5, which one should I NOT do FP+ for right now?

I agree with AK. It is a lot of shows. Plan to hit the rides like Kali River and Expedition if you do it earlier in the am. You will walk on the safari and rides in Dinoland. The rest is just planning around showtimes.

We always skip AK. Go in the mornings, and book FP for MK in the evenings.

DHS is a close second. The only FP we need is Toy Story... and Frozen if we want to humor DD.

Considering that AK will be our first park and HS our last, should I book FP+ for AK now, and then once I upgrade that day do the FP+ for HS? Might I be out of luck for HS that late in the game? Or is FP+ for AK just a waste regardless?

Fast pass at AK isn't a "waste" but it's easier to do without than any other park. You definitely want to book your FPs at DHS now and add the AK ones after you add the extra day. If you want to ride Toy Story, those "sell out" and rides at AK might have fewer times to choose from the night before, you can likely still get something and touring AK without any isn't too tough.

If you don't care about Toy Story, then I would do that. If you want Toy Story during the day, you need to book FP+ early.

I tried changing our FP+ a week out and the only time for Toy Story was late evening. At 3 days out, there was nothing available.

Edited: I wonder if you can make FP+ at AK on your first day after going in? Or would it remove the ones you've already made.... and on that note, if you have a 4 day ticket and have FP+ for 4 days, but go into the park early does that do anything to booked FP+?

Animal Kingdom, hands down. Do RD, hit Everest & Safari, and you won't miss the FP much at all.

OMG, I didn't even think of that! You're probably right. If I go into AK the first day it will probably remove my FP+ for at least one of the other days. Darn!

So I guess my only options would be to completely re-arrange my itinerary (I really don't want to) or skip FP+ for either HS or Epcot. I'm wondering if I should do HS FP+ now and do the Epcot ones once I upgrade in the park. I have yet to see Soaring in the FP+ availability calendars, which must mean there's a better chance to get them a few days out.
