If you had to pick one signature....which one???

Flying Fish, without a doubt. It's GORGEOUS and laid back at the same time. It's a foodie's dream. Afterward, you can stroll the Boardwalk or hop into Epcot for Illuminations or a drink.

Sandcastle Club (at the Beach Club) is nearby and GREAT for the kiddies. They have arcade games for the kids to play - no tokens required. My daughter played Ms. Pac-Man ALL NIGHT LONG. She requested to go back again on our next trip.

If you are paying OOP, I suggest getting away from Disney's signatures as there are better places to eat that are not on the dining plan.

Of course, tops is V&A. If you don't want to spend that much, I recommend Bistro de Paris, bluezoo, Il Mulino.

If you are trying to use dining plans, our favorite of the Disney restaurants is Flying Fish.

Bistro de Paris, bluezoo, and V&A are ALL signature restaurants! But Il Mulino is an amazing non-signature restaurant IMO

Jiko...nice atmosphere. Beautiful resort. Unique food. I haven't eaten anything anywhere else that comes close to the food offerings there. The same cannot be said for the food offerings at the other Sig TS we tried on our last trip, including Cali Grill, Artist Pointe, Narcoossee's. All nice. Good food, but not nearly as unique at Jiko.

Jiko! Ate there twice on our last trip because the first time was so good we had to go back.

We've done Narcoosee's and Citrico's as a family and really enjoyed them. California grill was our date night last year and we had a fabulous evening. Our three boys went to the Mouseketeer's Club at GF. This year we are totally splurging and going to Victoria and Alberts. It has a great reputation and we are very excited to try it.

Good luck with your decision. I think it's great to take a little time out for ourselves on vacation.

It would be between California Grill and Citricos for me.

Prior to our honeymoon (also our last trip), the answer would have been California Grill. However, I'd now say Jiko in a heartbeat.

Artist Point, quiet and eclectic portions nice sized under $100 per person.
V&A,elegant and sumptous both in food and service around $200 per person.
FF,some of our best food memories in WD but it's not quiet under $100 person
Bistro de Paris, quiet and elegant, portions smaller but rich about $100 per person.

in each case adding wine can significantly add to the price but it's WD.

I have always wanted to try V&A so I will vote for that. I will be the odd woman out and say no to Narcoossees, the view is wonderful but the food not so much, at least not the last time I was there. Enjoy your date night where ever you go.

I vote for California Grill just because of the location. Citricos doesn't offer much atmosphere and Narcoossee's seems to be quite loud.

I just returned from a week-long food extravaganza and dined at a number of Signature and TS places. My top three:

1. Victoria & Albert's. A blow-out meal with many of the add-ons (caviar, white truffles, turbot, upgraded wine pairings). I'm not sure if it was the best meal of my life, but it's a contender and I did have the single best dish in a lifetime of fine-dining (black truffle gnocchi with mushrooms and topped with fresh white truffles). Crazy-expensive, but worth it.

2. Todd English's bluezoo. My first time eating there. Fabulous from beginning to end. For an out-of-pocket meal other than V&A, this was probably my best WDW meal ever. Gorgeous space and food that tasted as good as it looked. The platings were amazing. I was eaves-dropping on surrounding tables and everyone was raving about their food. You could eat well here for less money than at many inferior places in WDW. Or spend a ton of money (like I did) and still not feel ripped off.

3. Flying Fish Cafe. Always excellent. For me, no trip to WDW would be complete without eating at FFC. Disney-geek bonus points for serving bass from The Land in Epcot (the evening's "Special Thunder" entree). I couldn't resist diving into their great wine list, so this was an expensive meal, but deeply satisfying. My waiter was especially terrific.

Other Signatures I ate at this time were California Grill, Hollywood Brown Derby and Jiko. All were good-to-very good, but a notch down from the above. But I will still return to all 3.

Two other great experiences: Tea at The Grand Floridian and La Cava del Tequila at Epcot (my new favorite afternoon diversion).
