Hi,

i am so jealous ~~ my friend is off to the CSR Tuesday. (We still have a few weeks to wait for our trip) They are going twice this summer, once in June to CSR, once in July to POFQ. Each trip will be four days. They have AP's for the parks, and want to stay on a budget for meals. But her question to me was which restaurant would I say is the "don't miss this" one? They are planning on just a few $$$ meals. Since they want to limit their spending on meals and still have a magical time, I didn't really know which one to tell her not to miss since we love so many. ::yes::

Any ideas from you guys?

(Oh yeah -- one older teen with them - 19)

jiko at AKL is fabulous. and we have enjoyed artist point at WL. both of those would be excellent meals.

That's a hard one! Le Cellier is one of my favorites, but then I like so many others too! One that I've always wanted to try, but haven't yet is Palio in the Swan. It smells so good when you go up the elevator that's near it.

Tough to pick just one.............We love so many.............

I guess we'd cast our vote for Le Cellier.......as well...........

:teeth: :teeth: :teeth: :teeth: :teeth:

My vote is for Cinderella's Royal Table. I love the atmosphere there and the food is good too.

I often read how so many people love Le Cellier. I have never tried it. This visit we may have to. ::yes::

Strawberry Lemonade ~ I agree - we love Cinderella's Royal Table. I think there is little to no chance my friend could get in there on short notice. Even for their July trip.

disney queen ~ We stayed at AKL last summer. We never went into Jiko, but we ate in Boma a few times. Is Jiko that much better? My first thought was to suggest Boma to her since they like to try new cuisines and we loved it there.

Well, thanks for the ideas and keep 'em coming! I will see her later this afternoon and I know she'll ask me again.

I have to say Le Cellier, too. We tried it for the first time last week and it's on our "must do every trip" list!! Love that cheese soup!!::yes:: ::yes::

We love Artist Point...it's a must do every trip.

We also tried BOMA for the first time this past trip and LOVED it...we'll be back again for sure!

Too many to choose from...but going for 'magical' and just one choice, I would say CRT, but for Dinner, not breakfast (I think the food is better). There is just something so awesome about eating in 'the castle'...

If I were to plan a perfect meal itinerary that is well rounded in Disney magic, it would include:

Ohana
Boma
CRT
Crystal Palace
Le Cellier
Chef Mickeys
California Grill
Beaches and Cream
Cape May Cafe
Whispering Canyon
