Cell phone. I never have it on. I have no clue what the phone number is. DW and kids can call me so they know the number but I really have no use for it at all.
I don't have a dishwasher or car and I've survived.
I would get rid of my cell phone in a SECOND! When my contract is up in January I most likely won't get another one, I HATE that people can get ahold of me all the time, and if I ignore their calls they get mad.
I could also live without a microwave.
I could live without my computer but I like having it to keep in touch with people (I don't have myspace, facebook or twitter, just good old fashioned email ) and I like using it to look things up.
Dishwasher. Have only had one about 2 years. (well, used it that long I guess).
This house came with one when we bought it 11 years ago. I used it maybe 6 times in 9 years. Then two years ago my sister talked me into using it all the time. It only worked a couple of months before the old thing died!~! I IMMEDIATELY went out and bought a new one
But if I HAD to give up one thing on the list, the dishwasher would be it.
I can't live without everything else, but I didn't get a dishwasher until I was 28. I still forget and handwash some things. I find it a bit of a zen-giving moment when everything is done by hand and dried and put away.
