between CBR and POP, which would you choose and why

Moderate over a Value every day if the extra $$$ is not a problem. CBR is great with two Skyliner stations and much better dining options with Riviera open now. Not even close for me...

Big fan of POP here. But CBR would be my choice between the two.

Much better dining options, love the small pools, it's a beautiful resort with great walking paths that are wonderful in the evening (and now that the parks close so early that will be nice), the two Skyliner stations means direct lines to both parks.

I’d pick Pop. I’m just not a fan of the size and theming of CBR.
Plus I prefer the savings and renovated rooms at Pop.

I love Pop but StageTek listed all the reasons why I'd pick CBR.

I'd pick Pop. CBR is too big and spread out, it's always been my least favorite moderate. I like resorts with only one bus stop.

CBR will have 2 actual beds instead of a bed and a pull-down/murphy. Feature pool has a slide. Building in CBR only have 2 floors so taking the stairs isn't a big deal if you don't want to wait for an elevator (pop's buildings have 4 floors). CBR has a LOT more food choices.

Just to be clear, the Murphy bed at Pop IS an actual bed. Same mattress as the non-Murphy bed.

Before the renovation, which moved the check-in desk to the main lobby and the skyliner... I'd def. have said Pop; however now that they checkin desk it at the front lobby (no need to lug all your stuff around even further etc.) and since it's the skyliner hub (no need to transfer to get to the parks, only 1 line) I'd choose CBR if money weren't issue or too much more. I don't like how big or how many stops their are at CBR, but since buses will not be running from either Pop or CBR to 2 of the parks; I'd prefer to stay where there's direct access.

I usually do POP as, I do a handful of "short" trips a year. If you only have ONE trip planned, I'd go for CBR. You are really immersed in the caribbean atmosphere.

We always stay at Pop but might try CBR if the price was right. We normally just use our room for sleeping so Pop fits the bill for us perfectly!!

Other reasons we love Pop
- Skyliner (but CBR has that also)
- smaller size means no room is more than a 7 or 8 min walk from buses or Skyliner
- 1 bus stop with organized boarding lines
- close access to Art of Animation for additional food court option (normally when it's open)

I don't think you can go wrong with either. Pop is great for the price. I believe the rooms at Pop are more recently refurbished. If you can swing CBR, its nice to be at the hub of the Skyliner where you never have to transfer lines. CBR is bigger and will have more bus stops to stop at when going to MK, AK and DS (assuming they are not full at your stop). Its walking distance to Riviera which has a few more dining options. I also probably prefer the pool at CBR, which may be important for trips in the near future since park hours are shorter making resort time more important.
