where would you stay and for how long?

We've always stayed at one of the values but we've decided next time we're upgrading.

So...opinions people? Since I've got a few years before the next trip I figure I've got time to save up the money to stay anywhere. (you could argue since I'm already thinking about this that I truly am obsessed. :goodvibes )

What's the best on-site place you've stayed and how many days is just right?

Polyn - if your main parks is MK and Epcot

BW or BC if your main parks are Epcot and Studios

not going to a park - then 1 or 2 bedroom at OKW or SSR.

I'll take a 2 bedroom at Beach Club Villas for a few days and then move over to a Grand Villa (if they are going to have one?) with a savannah view at AKV. :hippie:

I'd be sure to have dinner at California Grill and Jikos and maybe Fulton's Crab House. :teeth:

I'd split a stay with a week at the Polynesian followed by a week at the Beach Club.

they are definitely having a GV at AKV. BWV has a GV now.

If I did not have to worry about the money, I would take 2 weeks in the King Kamehameha Suite at the Poly. Most of the time would be at the Disney parks but several days would be doing other things in and around Orlando.

I would stay for at least a month and hop around from GF, AKL and Poly. I would also go to a character breakfast, lunch or dinner every day. Isn't nice to dream.

My personal dream would be the Polynesian or Boardwalk Concierge with the best view. :thumbsup2

Someday...when I win the lottery... :rolleyes1

If I could stay anywhere & for any length of time? :)

The Admiral 2-br suite at the Yacht Club for 10 days followed by a week at the Royal Assante suite at AKL. Sounds great to me! :thumbsup2

Any monorail resort will do, but I stay at them now. I suppose instead of the standard views I get now I would opt for MK views and concierge.

CR concierge for sure. Someday we will do it, lots of saving before hand or hitting the lottery :)

No budget, right?
1 week at the Contemporary - concierge tower room facing the Magic Kingdom
5 days at the Animal Kingdom Lodge - concierge - Savanah view.
5 days at the Beach Club - concierge - Water view/balcony room
All on the Dining plan with Park hopping length of stay passes and
limo transportation to and from the parks/restaurants/Downtown Disney.
Unlimited admission to the clubs at Pleasure Island and Disney Quest. Throw
in a few of movies at the PI theaters and I'd be all set.
Ahhhhhh...........dream on.

a week at each resort, and then a second round staying at different types of rooms in each resort. Is that a little greedy? ;)

Like someone else said. Split time between Poly for MK and Epcot and Beach Club for the rest of the vacation.

Course If I had to choose I would take the Platnium Plus Dining (or whatever it's called) at Any resort over the best single resort with normal Dining.

Here's my answer:

Where I would like to stay: Boardwalk Villa Garden Suites with Balcony
Concierge (of course):)

Best place I have stayed on site: Animal Kingdom Lodge, Savannah View
with Concierge - Loved it especially the Sunrise Safari - can't be missed :goodvibes

Loved the experience of concierge and the svannah but honestly enjoyed the rooms at Old Key West better

I'd have rooms at the Poly, the Beach Club, and the Animal Kingdom. And I'd stay there indefinitely. :teeth:

AKL, staying 2 weeks, 5 days of park hopper, 9 days of do not disturb sign and sleeping all day. For the 6 hours a day I will be up during those magical days, order room service and eat, go to restaurants and eat, but book for hour spent not eating if you catch my drift haha...

Wow - you guys do dream big!! I think i'm going to have to save more than my pennies :)

So far the winning resort is the Poly with AKL and BC following close behind.

Lots of people would split their stays - Question - do you do that now? Or stay in one place?

Polyn - if your main parks is MK and Epcot

BW or BC if your main parks are Epcot and Studios

not going to a park - then 1 or 2 bedroom at OKW or SSR.

Spiceycat,
I just love your answer. Could agree with you more.:goodvibes
