If you had a month to stay at WDW. . .

Hmm. I'm not sure!

We stayed 9 nights in October and I was nowhere NEAR ready to come home. DH was ready. ;)

I am a horrible park commando. Maybe if we had more time I could slow down. I am trying to reform, I really am, I just can't stand to be at the resort if the parks are open! DH wants to nap and sit and whatever.

I think maybe 3 weeks would be good. With the Premium plan. I am NOT one who would get tired of eating out. I would love to do lots of tours and recreation and whatever. I also think it would be good to have some friends there for at least part of the time so DH, DS, and I could spend some time AWAY from each other. In October we were together practically every minute from the time we left home on Friday until we came back home the following Sunday. A little too much togetherness. It would have been good to have some other people in our group. For some reason I felt like we all needed to stay together the whole time. By our 7th day in the parks I decided if DH didn't want to be in the parks he should go back to the room. It worked quite well. DS and I had a brilliant time at MK - just the 2 of us.

So maybe not 30 days, but I'd be willing to give it a try! :teeth:

30 days - my idea of heaven. There is so much I still haven't seen and done. I would do the tours, I would love to be there during December for the Christmas decorations. I would eat everywhere I have never eaten, like Tony's Town Square. I would see every single parade ... Count me In! :cool1:

I would do it in a NY minute
I'd stay at all the DVC's
Think of how nice it would be to give up a fastpass to a sad family and just smile and say I have plenty of time to ride.I love standing in line and watching the little ones antisapation to get to the ride .Sometimes this can't be done (FASTPASS) due to time restictions.

I would love to go for a month! We are DVC members at VWL and staying in a 2 bedroom for a month would be great, especially in January or February when our New York winters get to be so horrible!

if i went to a park every day i'd get sick of it. if i just kind of stayed around the resort some i'd probably be ok but a month is along time to not go anywhere off property imo

I'd love to spend that much time at Disney and I don't think I would get sick of it. There's so much to do and so much that I haven't seen yet. But I might get sick literally. Considering I eat like a pig at Disney, I'm not sure 31 days of eating like a beast would be a good idea. :rotfl:
The Boulangerie Patisserie would run out of pastries if I spent a month at Disney. :teeth:

NO WAY NO HOW!!

I would don't think I would get sick of it. But I definitely take more time doing everything. No commando style for that trip!!

At first I thought a month was too long than I reconsidered.....

I wouldn't go to the parks every day. I could relax totally at the resort. I could not stay in a regular room though. I would have to be at a vacation villa whereby you had a LR,DR, Kitchen, W/D......

In all honesty, I think 18 days would be my max!

do you think you'd get sick of it? 30 (or 31 days, depending on your month) of being surrounded by Disney all the time. Think it would be too much?
I will make you a deal. ;) You pay for the month, and I will volunteer to stay there for you; and then I will more than happy to answer your question. :rotfl2:

My first thought is that I could actually sleep in!! :goodvibes

I tend to go commando, so I can only imagine how good it would feel to know you had a whole month to fit everything in. Sleep in, mosey on over to the parks, go on a few rides, then mosey back to the hotel for a swim.
Pure Bliss!! :sunny:

As long as someone else was footing the bill, I'd stay forever! LOL I'd also be willing to work in the park to help out.

I've been thinking about this for a while, and I don't think I would get tired of staying in Disney for about 30 days. Whenever I go to Walt Disney World, my family is always in such a rush trying to be early so that we don't have to wait such a long time on rides, lol. We never actually get the time to enjoy the "magic" of Disney (yes, sounds a bit corny, but it's true, lol.) 30 days in Disney .. I would actually be able to see the things I want to see, like watch the shows and the parades rather than just go onto the rides. :]

nope...I'm sure I would NOT get sick of WDW if I was there for a month. Last time we went for 11 days and I felt like I just skimmed the surface as far as seeing everything. I would have NO PROBLEM staying a month!!!

We were there for 15 days once and that got a little long.

I think you'd have to leave WDW and go to SeaWorld, Universal, and maybe some central Florida touring if you were there a month.

I would love to spend a month in WDW. I would like to stay at OKW, Poly, Contemnp, or GF. BUt if I were to stay there for a month, I would go about everythingt differently. I would see a lot of the shows that I normally dont see. I would play a lot of golf and spend a lot more time shopping. I would spend more time doing watersports etc... SOmetimes when you go down to WDW and you are only there for a week or less, you feel like ur rushed, so If I was there that long, I would definetely spend a lot more time. I would also probably ride in the front of the monorail with the driver for his whole shift and just hang out!!!

On our first trip to Disney when my daughter was 5 she looked up at me one day in the Magic Kingdom and said "Why don't we live here?" and I tried to explain that we couldn't live here because Grammy and Papa and the rest of our family lived in Kansas and she looked at me and said "I know, but why don't we live here?" meaning us and Grammy and Papa and everyone else we love! To this day we rarely go through a day without talking about Disney. We live from trip to trip - always thinking and planning for the next time we get to go. We usually stay about 10 days when we go and it never seems like enough. I would love to live in Orlando and be one of the people on this site who are able to run over to the World for a couple of hours just to check out the new holiday decorations or to check on the progress of a new ride being built. I would never get tired of WDW!

If you know you are coming back to WDW again, why do you want to rush? 30 days vacation in one time or 2x 15 days trip or 3x 10 days trip - all same things to me. If I know I will have 3x 10 days trip, I would not try to do everything in the first 10 days trip. I may just hit some highlights of the parks and then focus on one or two, leave the rest for the rest of the trips.

You're only rushed if you rush yourself. :)

In our current WDW trip (@ WDW now) :) (see my trip log) I know we will not be able to see everything in 7 days with our two DDs. So, we are only hitting highlights and then focusing on the stuff that interests the DDs for their age. As they get older, we will expand into other areas.

My Dh and I dream of this when we do the, when we win the lottery list. It would be a minium 2 bedroom at OKW. Probably would cheat and sneak over to Sea World and Universal, not often but at least once. We usually go for 10-14 days and feel like we didn't do everything that we wanted. You would have so much time to, pardon the clique, stop and smell the roses and just enjoy the atmoshere. One time we ran into a local couple that said they go to the World Showcase every weekend for dinner. Lots of variety and like they say you can't beat the atmoshpere.

If we didn't have to worry about DD missing school would also pick a winter month! :cold: A month sounds great right now!

Not sure really, but if I could, I would pick for DH and myself, a one bedroom villa at OKW from the end of October to the end of November which would include, MNSSHP, Food and Wine Festival, Festival of the Masters, MVMCP, Osbourne Lights, and Candlelight Processional, plus a week in the middle that's for sure not real busy.
