Thank you! Yes, they are all handmade. I'm going as sleeping beauty. I used fiber optic fabric and my dress switches from pink to blue. I'm currently making Cinderella for my friend's daughter (she's same age as my dd) and then I just have to make my friends costume. She's still deciding who she wants to be. I was inspired by the electrical light parade. Thought what's better than just a regular handmade costume? ONE THAT LIGHTS UP!!

I am absolutely in awe. Your children are literally getting to live as a Prince and Princess at Disney via your own hard work. That is the coolest thing ever and your kids are going to have some incredible memories because of you. Do you sell dresses to others?

Sometimes after the kids grow out of them I might list them on eBay. I be made dresses for friends children. I'm trying to get a portfolio together. I want to work for Disney. I'd love to see and create them for the parks. I've just started putting my applications in. I'm very ready to move to Florida and live my dreams

I've been trying to get BOG since our 180 mark... We are doing two MNSSHP and I'v been working My kids costumes since last August! My Disney Dinning Buddy alerted me around 2 or 3pm yesterday and had no problem getting on the night of our first party when My children are Belle and Prince Adam. They Had to release a batch of reservations! With in a few short hours they were all gone because I kept checking out of curiosity. I'm very happy Paid the $8 for the alert because I have still been checking but it would have been soooo easy to miss that! I was at 93 days out... BUT SOOOO EXCITED and So are my children!!! Now if I could only cross my fingers for a Rain free NIGHT!

We didn't even book our trip until about 75 days out, so I didn't think BOG would happen at all. It was booked up every night up until about a month before, maybe a bit less. I just randomly looked and there were two different times just sitting there! Patience is the key

Ditto. Just booked 2 weeks ago for the middle of September. Checked twice a day and scored BOG last week. I think it was right around the 60 day mark for FP+, so that might be why. Now if I could just get CRT...

I did not get one at our 180 either. I spent a couple of weeks searching on my own with no luck. So I signed up with Dining Buddy and within a couple of days, I got the BOG dinner res we wanted! So excited!!

We missed out at 180, signed up for the $10 alert service. It will let you know whenever there is an open table for the dates and meal you selected. Since signing up we have booked and changed at least 8 dinner reservations for BoG. The alerts show up within a minute of them opening up. Well worth the $10 imo.

I have been working on plans for a month and a half now. Two weeks ago I scored BOG for lunch just by chance. Keep trying.

They really do happen. I've had to cancel before at short notice, and I often wonder who the lucky soul is that picks it up about 2 mins later!

I went in March and was able to grab a BOG reservation for dinner for 4 about 4 weeks out. I checked daily (maybe even more than once per day) to find one.

I joined a group on Facebook for the month I was traveling and it just so happened that someone said they were dropping a reservation, and I got on and grabbed it.

I am going to be at the MK October 28 and 30 and have been trying many times each day for many months now to book dinner at BOG. Nothing ever opens up and I am worried that Scout and other things are stopping
openings from coming up. In the past reservations would pop up from time to time but that seems to have changed. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

Scout and the like are not keeping reservations from popping up -- they are just notifying people right away when they DO pop up.

Which COULD make it much more difficult for you to grab something with random checks.

Solutions?

1. Check for the reservation every 1/2 hour or so, all day - every day and have an equal chance as someone using a service.

2. Use a service. ($3-10)

Scout found my BOG 130 days out. I love scout and think it's well worth the $6 I paid. We're going in Nov.

I used WDW table finder and was able to get a 6pm BoG dinner for the night we are attending MNSSHP. For a while I thought that I had wasted money, but I have been able to snag 3 ADRs with the service.

I think they just opened up times from 6-655 for party nights.
