If you get a corny dog fix in DCA....

The food DM posted is regular DCA food, not F&W specials. The bleu cheese burger at Taste Pilot's is really really good. Not as good as a corny dog though.

I'm really sad it's going to take 2 years for it to reopen. I kept reading even though that was posted on CM's refurb lists, that may be typo. But it's been awhile since that has been posted and I haven't seen a correction yet.

I hope they don't take the corny dogs away though. I'd really be sad. The hot link one is the best ever.

I love the cheddar cheese ones too - I am a pescetarian at the moment - and everyone else likes the hot links. That's why the plain ones in DL just won't suffice!

Hmmmm...a new idea if it reopens by Ariel's new ride..catfish dogs..lol

:rotfl: That does open up endless possibilities.

Hound, it may be time to broaden your DCA dining repertoire. You know there is plenty of other "healthfood" to consume in the DCA area. Here are some examples:

Lobster Nachos or BBQ Chicken Pizza at the Cove Bar.

Bleu cheese burger with criss-cut fries or onion rings at Taste Pilot's Grill.

or if you need to have that special type of food that you can eat as you walk with purpose to the next attraction, then grab a BBQ hot link at Award Weiners. Yeah, yeah, I know it's not the same as a corny dog, but trying new things is what makes return trips to DLR so much fun! :goodvibes
Sounds yummy! Okay since I am a DL freak, and hardly get to DCA other than to ride rides, where is the Cove bar? Do they serve virgin drinks? I'm not much of a drinker...:eek:OTOH, maybe since I'm not driving, I could try drinking some on this trip...:lmao:
I like the sound of the lobster nachos and BBQ pizza.:yay:
Where is the Taste Pilot's Grill? OMG, I just realized I don't know near enough about DCA!

Cove Bar is in the south side of Ariel's Grotto. Enter and go straight back instead of down the stairs.

This is the best news I've heard all weekend!! Although I'll miss the Castle, I'm actually excited about getting my Corny Dog over at the Farmer's Market, cause it's a lot closer to the Beer Truck!! :drinking1

BTW, DH and I just got back from 6 days at WDW. I was shocked and disapointed to find that the corn dogs there are NOT hand dipped!! :scared1: They weren't any different that what you could get at Sonic. No Bengal BBQ and No Hand Dipped Corn Dogs = don't bother eating at the Magic Kingdom!!

Thanks for the scoop MCL!! :worship:

I am waiting for the Hound to wake up and see this. It is sad that they are not hand dipped but still everyone loved them when they did not know.

I have celiac and food allergies so I cannot have Bengal Barbecue or corn dogs thus I still eat at the parks, lol. You can survive without them Items.

Will have to get my corny dog after riding Screamin' but before taking a choo choo ride with Heimlich.....in search of candy corn! :yay:

hound <--- cool guys ride Heimlich. :cool2:

I accidently found that and thought of you.

Yes cool dudes ride the choo choo and hunt for candy corn. I love that ride as it reminds me of my past as a little girl but not sure where. Glad you are happy.

Bumping this. Mechurchlady, thank you for posting about them moving the corn dogs!! Soo exciting!! Anyone know if the full Corn Dog Castle menu is over there now?
