If you drive on Disney Property, READ THIS!!!

The SuperBus was unfortunetly, a mechanical nightmare... and for that reason, (among others) it was removed from service

O what fun we used to have on the meat wagon from DTD to the allstars we wept a tear when it went out of service

It is interesting that you posted this. My husband and I just returned from a trip to WDW on the 6th of Feb and we drive on Disney property to go from resort to resort for sit down dinners and to go from our resort to DTD. We talked about how I was going the speed limit and people were flying past me like I was standing still. We also saw people run red lights. I am glad that patrols are being stepped up. I bet most people think that the roads inside on the WDW Property are not patroled for things like speeding. Won't they be surprized? Thanks again for posting.

We talked about how if we were home driving on I95 then you almost need to speed to "keep up with the flow of trafic". But, somehow speeding at Disney just seems wrong.

Thanks. We use World Drive into Celebration and noticed last weekend they were out in full force where the speed limit changes down to 35 closer to Celebration. They had more than a few pulled over in each direction.

My husband and I stayed at an off-site location, return to the hotel from EPCOT one evening was aboard one of those articulated busses. I had the sensation it was going to detach--just as you would expect in an action thriller movie! :D Talk about cattle herding--we were even more jammed into that bus than the Disney busses at closing time! Not a fun ride--oh yeah, a kid got sick too! Blech. . .

We don't drive on property (my husband is directionally challenged BUT thinks I should be omniscient when going down the road)--it just makes our vacation much less stressful. I have seen the police doing their jobs on occasion and my fair share of accidents. People really should sloooowwwww down, you are--after all--on vacation. ;)
