Where else would you go with your spouse and almost 3 year old? I'm thinking of San Angel Inn...it looks like a fun/romantic place. We're going to Garden Grill for lunch one day, but I thought spending a relaxing evening in Epcot would be nice, too.
Thanks for any advice! :)

We're planning on doing LeCellier which I would never leave out and Coral Reef.

If I couldn't do Coral Reef or heaven forbid LeCellier, we would do the Biergarten. I almost wish we were planning 3 days in Epcot so we could try the Biergarten. From everything I've read the food is very good and the music is great. Not romantic, but lots of fun.

Thanks so much! Can you believe I just called and got Coral Reef for dinner on the day we needed...I've been trying since Friday! :yay: :woohoo:

We took DD3 to Biergarten last month. We all enjoyed the food, and she had a lot of fun dancing with the other children while the band played the "Chicken Dance", etc. It is definitely a high energy, family friendly place!

For future reference Coral Reef was great for lunch. So I'd take CR for lunch and move GG to dinner if I couldn't get CR at Dinner.

San Angel Inn is not romantic. Dark, yes, but not romantic.

Honestly, I do not know of any restaurant that is romantic, that I've been to in WDW. Coral Reef, maybe. Tutto Italia? I'm guessing, because I'm going there this year. V&A can be, definitely, but it's not on the DDP.

yes... the reviews for coral reef as of late have been poor. some others that you might enjoy are Rose & Crown, Le Chefs, Tokyo Dining, The new place in Italy, or Beirgarten.

Oooops...I guess we'll just hope the ambiance scores big and that the food will be good that day! :thumbsup2
I'll definitely keep all these suggestions in mind for this trip and the next, and the next, and the next....! Thanks!!

My husband and I ate at the Coral Reef on Frebruary 14th and it was wonderful! Our waiter was very attentive and the food, as usual, was delicious. We've had either lunch or dinner here bunches of times and even schedule Coral Reef more than 1x on our trips. I'm a very picky eater but I've never had either a bad meal or bad service. In fact, on our last trip(Feb. 14), it was the 28th anniversary of the night we met, and look what they brought to our table:

Awww!! Thanks for that review and that great picture! That definitely makes me smile!! :)

We did both Coral Reef and San Angel Inn for dinner at Epcot back in November. Coral Reef was, in my opinion, much more romantic than San Angel. Actually, I was dissapointed in San Angel because I remember the food being better than it was... We found the service to be slightly slow, the waiter was not rude, but not especially friendly, and all of the tables were crammed as close together as they could be. The ambiance was nice, but it was a loud place.

Whereas at Coral Reef, we had a blast. The surroundings were great, the food was ~*SPECTACULAR*~ (the best we had at Disney), and our waiter was such a riot. He was so friendly, and he went above and beyond for us. We had the DDP, and when it came to order dessert, I was tossing and turning between one dessert and another. I finally chose the one he suggested as his favorite, but he ended up bringing the other I really wanted too in a take-out box for later... And he didn't charge us at all for the other dessert. He also brought us extra glo-cubes because we had a late dinner and it was a long walk to the bus, so he wanted us to use them to "light our way," and he actually fed me and my sister one of the desserts. It was a hoot!

I'd definately go with CR over SAI. Actually, I'd eat at 9 Dragons before SAI. Their food was awesome too. :)
