If anyone has any pixie dust they could spare and send it out to california that would be great.

I am scheduled for brain surgery in about 19 hours and I am scared beyond belief

In the back of my mind I know that everything will go fine, it's only a 4 hour surgery so it's very short and a relatively straight foward surgery with relatively low risks but of course, it's still surgery and so of course anything that could possibly happens keeps floating thorugh my mind...Not sure why, but I am more worried about side effects of the anasthesia than the actual surgery.

So If anyone has any prayers or pixie dust they could spare for the day that would be amazing

I went in for minor gall bladder removal and I was scared poopless.


I can't even imagine what you must be going through. It is perfectly natural to be scared. We will pray for you and send you good thoughts.

I had two surgeries in May, one on my knee and one on my spine. Neither were half as bad as my over-active imagination made them out to be.

Just relaxing is going to make it better.

don't balme you for being scared--it is natural. Funny, I always worry about the anesthesia than the surgery too But, I do believe you will e fine and I will absolutely keep you in my thoughts and look forward to seeing you post again soon
