If you could pick your dining rotation and WHY?

We are going on a 3 day cruise and will receive conceirge service. It is my understanding that we can select our dining rotation. This is our first cruise and I have no idea which order we would prefer. Suggestions? Reasoning behind your selection? Also, we would like to try Palo too. Which restaurant night would you select? We'll probably "double dip" and eat with our kids and then go to Palo. Thanks in advance!

On the 3 night cruise, I would "double-dip" as you do not want to miss any of the dining experiences.

We had the 3 night in May and also were in concierge. I requested the dining rotation of Parrot Cay, Tritons, Animators Palatte.

Here's my reasoning:

I really wanted to eat in Palo's on the first night. It was a wonderful way to start the cruise. I've heard others say that they like to end their cruise with Palo's, but I was exhausted after spending our entire last day on Castaway Cay and I know that I wouldn't have enjoyed Palo's half as much, especially with packing on my mind. I looked over all the menu's and Parrot Cay was the one restaurant I didn't mind missing dinner in. We made it a point to eat lunch here after we got on board, so that worked out fine.

Do you have first or second seating for dinner? If you have first, then you'll be scheduled to see the show at 8:30pm. Were you planning on missing the show for Palo's dinner, if so, that would make a difference on which night you choose. Are your kids old enough to go to the show on their own, or would they miss it too?

Also, they have a character farewell at 10pm on the final night of the cruise. Not sure if you have children that would be interested, but if so, you may have to work that into your schedule.

We had late dining and actually all of us skipped Parrot Cay for the first night. I had one child in the lab and the other in the common grounds. Neither one wanted to miss the first night and the lab had a pizza party, plus the kids snacked on chicken fingers and fries. We all went to the Hercules show at 6:30, then I dropped off my daughter in the lab and we went to Palo's for an 8pm reservation.

It's hard to pick a night when you only have 3.

I belive you can request a rotation but no assurances that it will be given.

I would pick the late seating because No. 1 you don't have to rush the days activities to get to dinner early and No. 2 you don't have to get to breakfast on the last day by 6:45 a.m.! That is too early..............

Actually, when you stay in concierge you can order the room service breakfast on the last day. It's limited to deluxe continental, but that includes cereal, croissants, muffins, bagels, coffee, tea & juices.
