If you could only do 1 TS meal, where would it be?

I'd like to limit this to inside the parks (not in any of the hotels as we will be relying on bus service).

So, what are your favorite in park TS meals, where are they, and why do you like them so much?

I confess the only TS meals I've been to are character meals. I'd like some ideas for one nice dinner out for DD, 5, and the grandparents.

P.S. I forgot to ask: can you split a meal?? I know at some of the Disneyland restaurants they will charge you a split plate fee (like $6 or $7 dollars). Also, does every person have to order? Does a child have to order a meal or can they just get an empty plate and eat some of ours. I'm not sure of the specific rules of dining as we've only done character meals.

Le Cellier in Canada would be handsdown my fav pick. The salads are huge, the steaks are fabulous, the pretzel bread addictive and the chocolate "moose" dessert and glowing "Northern Light" drink are fun for the kids (my DD,7, loved it!). I think all in your party would be pleased.

Not sure if Teppanyaki will be open when you are there, but that is always one we do.. We love the cooking in front of us and the fact that you see the food cooked and know it is fresh....Children love the entertainment put on by the Chefs and the food is good.

I also like Bistro de Paris, pricey, but good food with even better service. I am a Rose and Crown fan and love sitting outside and having fish and chips..yummy. If you time it right, you can view fireworks from this location....

Brown Derby.. or Chef de France (make a reservation b4 7p.m. and order the
'French menu') it's devine :cloud9:

Le Cellier, definitely. We go during F&W Festival, so we "graze" at the food booths, but Le Cellier is the only place that I feel like I have to go that's TS.

Definately Le Cellier.
2nd option would be Biergarten in Germany; buffet style and wonderful inter-active family entertainment by leder-hosen clad Bavarian musicians.

I would vote for Ohana. I know it is not in the parks but it is just a short monorail ride from the Magic Kingdom.

50's PTC is my choice. I've eaten there every trip since they opened. Always good food and the cast has always been top-notch. Next would be Biergarten and Rose and Crown.

I'm not sure how much a 5 year old would enjoy LeCelliers. We enjoy it but my kids are teenagers.

Are you looking for someplace with good food or are you looking for someplace that a 5 year old would enjoy.

http://allearsnet.com/din/dining.htm check out the menus here to see if there is something she would really like to try if you are wanting a regular sit down meal instead of a character meal.

One more vote for Le Cellier! Can't wait for pretzel bread in September! :woohoo:

We are going in September on the Wonder, so we won't be going to Epcot, but if I stood right outside the gate, would you throw me some?:rolleyes1

I DREAM of pretzel bread!:wizard:

At Walt Disney World, for non-buffet, non character dining, I have never experienced any split plate charges. Sometimes me and my wife will split a salad and a desert and are never charged for a split plate nor is it denoted on the menu or by the server.
