what would they be? We are branching out this time and trying some new things. If you had to choose 2 out of these 4 what would they be? We'll be on the dining plan and we're all pretty adventurous eaters. Okay here are the choices
California Grill
Jiko
Flying Fish
Spoodles

We will have 3 kiddos w/us from age 5-7. 2 of them will eat pretty much anything and the other is picky, but he's picky no matter where we are. Also, is California Grill still 2 dining credits?

can't really comment since I've only done Jiko - the others are on my todo list, with CG at the top probably... but don't miss Jiko... the lamb and sturgeon were really delicious and the filet really did look so good that I almost regretted getting the lamb

California Grill, Jiko and the Flying Fish are all 2. With that said I like Spoddles and California Grill.

I have dined at all four and would definitely eliminate Spoodles, IMHO it is just not up to par with the other three.

It's def. a very tough draw between Flying Fish, California Grill and Jiko (my three favorite restaurants on-property). I would say Jiko and California Grill.

I think JIKO has the best food out of these 4 but it may not be something that your children enjoy. This is a very quiet restaurant with darkened lighting, kind of an intimate setting, with an eclectic food selection, much of which has unique spices. Our most recent dinner there took 2 hours.

I also think CG and FF offer very good food with a bit more livelier atmosphere.

I would for sure dine at California Grill and time it during Wishes at MK.
You can enjoy Wishes from the table. They used to play the audio for it also.
Jiko has great food and I would recommend it as my #2.
If you want to venture from table service, we thought BOMA had better food. I know it is hard to buffet with children though....

Of the choices you listed, we would choose FF and CG.

Jiko and Flying Fish. Of course I love the other 2 too. Can't go wrong with any of these IMO. CG is particularly impressive for special occasions.

Ive only done Spoodles, but wont be doing it again

Any reason Narcoossee's didn't make your list? You have a Wishes viewing opportunity there as you would at CG. You can also get wonderful seafood there as you might at Flying Fish.

Sorry to add versus help you narrow, but just trying to understand your "selection" criteria. We were there with a 5yo last summer and were very comfortable.

I have eaten at Spoodles, its been years, but I recall a good meal and comfy family environment even though it was a "nice" restaurant.
