If you could live anywhere........

My husband and I were talking about moving the other day. We could move almost anywhere, he wouldn't even need to change jobs. The only thing we would need, is to be within 1 hour of an international airport.

So if you could live anywhere, where would you live and why?

Miami! I truly do love where I live and wouldn't want to live anywhere else!

Anywhere in Florida, but my top 4 would be:
1. Cocoa Beach
2. Orlando/Clebration
3. Key West
4. Miami

For me it would be northwest Arkansas or maybe Virginia or Tennessee. I wouldn't want to be in a large city though.

If I had to be in a large community and money was no object, I'd say San Diego. If money was a factor, I think that I'd move to Austin or San Antonio.

Not here, that's for sure! Get me out of South Texas! If money were truly no object, I'd have 2 homes-one up in New Hampshire area for summer and fall, then one probably in Hilton Head Island for winter and spring.

I'd stay in the area I'm in. I love NH, and truly could not live anywhere else. The pace of life is what I'm used to (I'm sorry, but a lot of other places move at a different speed, and now that I'm used to this I couldn't live elsewhere), the seasons are terrific. I love winter. As much as I love vacations in Disney, I could never live in Florida.

1) New York, because it is the center of the universe and has nice beaches nearby
2) Miami, because it has great people watching and nice beaches nearby

Las Vegas

Vegas baby!! That's where DH and I would be if we didn't have kids. Not that there's anything wrong with raising kids in Vegas it's just not our choice.

Ideally I'd love to have a condo in Vegas and a home in Pismo Beach CA. I love Pismo because it's on the coast and so pretty. I don't like the beach but I love the rocky coastal cliffs, there is a difference.

I also LOVE Hong Kong...spent much of my childhood there.

In the States, I think I would enjoy living somewhere in the Rockies.

At this point we are planning on moving back to northwest New Jersey, which I do love, pretty low rolling mountains, rural yet easy to get to malls etc... I would love to live in Mexico, my husband says no way. He travels a lot so it is more about where I would be happy. I keep thinking warm, year round warm. Not sure I want to stay in a cold winter climate anymore.

St. Augustine (gorgeous beaches, plus bays, inlets, rivers--water everywhere!). A small city but lots of things to do, plus it's only an hour from Jacksonville (and I think 3 hours from Disney). DH and I would move there in a heartbeat if we thought we could make decent $$ there. Alas, no jobs there (unless you're in construction) so we will have to be content with visits (luckily it's less than 2 hours away from us!)
