If you could have lunch with....

I've played this game before, but we've always separated them into living and dead categories.

Dead
1. Jesus Christ - I'm not a religious person, but how can you not pick him?
2. Abraham Lincoln - You can the argument he was our country's greatest president
3. Albert Einstein - THE scientific mind of our era

Living
1. Mikhail Gorechiev - It would be interesting to talk to him as one of the bigger historical figures of our day, especially so having the "other perspective"
2. Fish - A Scottish progressive rock singer favorite of mine
3. Whoever is Woodward and Bernstein's "Deep Throat"

Ask me the same question tomorrow, and I'll probably give a totally different list.

1. My Grandpa who died 10 years ago. I wonder what he would think of my husband, and our life now.

2. Oprah

3. Walt Disney

Oooh, there are loads of people I'd like to have lunch with - but as I can only choose three...

1.) My uncle - he died just after christmas 2003 :( :sad1:
2.) My other uncle - not dead, but lives in New Zealand and I have never met him before
3.) Orlando Bloom

1. Jesus
2. My friend Michelle who died when we were 19
3. My dog Taffy who died when I was 16

1. Jesus Christ-because there are so many things that I don't understand.
2. Sir Elton John-this one should be obvious LOL!
3. St. Paul-to explain his NT writings and the Early Church.

1. My grandmother - she passed away almost 20 years ago and I still miss her so much.

2. Walt

3. Jon Bon Jovi

1. My grandmother who passed away several years ago - I would love to have the chance to tell her how much she means to me and how much she touched my life.

2. Rob Thomas - I would love to just sit and chat with him for a while and see what makes him tick.

3. Hmmm, I have to think on this one.

1.) George Harrison -- I feel connected to his philosophies about life, religion, peace, love etc.

2.) Jesus Christ - to find out how his message fits in to today's world, what in the Bible is truly God's word and what is story or interpretation, how would he try to lead the nations of the world today towards his message of brotherly love etc. etc.

3.) my mom -- I just love to have some alone time with her, one on one. We had lunch out together yesterday, just the two of us, and I cherished every minute of it. :)

I loved the answer "Woodward's and Berstein's "Deep Throat". LOL! I am dying to know who that is ... more so out of nosey curiosity than any sort of political connection. :p

1. Johnny Depp. He seems like a genuine nice guy and just so incredibly interesting. Not to mention a fantastic actor and sexy guy. :lovestruc

2. Clay Aiken. I think he is one of the most talented singers out there right now, has good morals, and is awfully cute! I think he would be easy to talk to and would just be a lot of fun.

3. Marilyn Monroe. I would just love to talk to her about her life and would like to know what she wanted out of life. She's absolutely beautiful and I would love to meet her and see her in person. :)

I know I can only chose 3 but I have to add Walt Disney and Elton John! :p

1. Does God count? He's my first choice.

2. My grandparents.

3. My morbid curiousity = Laci Peterson, Nicole Simpson, Jon Benet Ramsey ...- just to know what REALLY happened!

1. Jesus

2. My Dad (RIP 21 years ago today :( )

3. Mother Theresa

I wouldn't want to just have lunch with those who have departed, simply because I couldn't bare losing them again....

I speak to God and Jesus everyday and vice versa.

Alive:

Oprah

Bill Cosby

Denzel

Pete Werner

:teeth:

Now that I've thought about it for a while I still don't know really who would be my #3 pick - maybe an artist I admire - Berthe Morisot.
