If you could do a 14 night cruise on any ship, which would you pick?

It's a dreary day here and I'm fantasizing about being far away on a long cruise. I'm curious -- if you had the opportunity to do a 14 night cruise on any ship (without needing to account for cost or logistics), which would you want to sail on? Why? Is that different than the ship you'd generally call your favorite?

For me, I think my "favorite" and what I'd pick for 14 nights are indeed different! I love love love the Magic and Wonder and would consider those my "favorites", but for a longer itinerary, I think I'd actually choose the Fantasy just to have access to more of the activities and amenities on board.

What about you?

Have done 14 night Panama Canal on Wonder & Magic, 13 night WBTA on Dream, and have a 13 night WBTA booked on the Fantasy. Have not been on the Wish.

Our favorite ship is the Magic, and it would be our choice for a 14 night also.

Dream class does offer different amenities, but activities offered on the longer cruises are pretty much the same no matter which ship. We were also surprised on the recent WBTA on the Dream to find that there simply wasn't enough space at venues for activities like trivia and animation drawing classes, even when arriving extra early.

We have done 10, 12, 13 & 14 on all the ships except The Wish and Fantasy. We are doing 14 on The Fantasy next Fall. So I would choose The Wish or Treasure.

Any ship? I would do the Yacht Club on the upcoming MSC World America which starts sailing in 2025 out of Miami. It would be a B2B cruise as I don't think they do 14-night cruises (I did do an 11-night B2B on MSC this past July). I did another MSC cruise in September and have one in a few weeks (January).

We have been lucky enough to do a 10 and 12 night Med cruise, an 11 night Iceland, and a 14 night PC cruise on the Magic; two PC cruises on the Wonder and an 11 night Med cruise on the Dream. That only leaves the Wish class to try something new for a long cruise, and even though I think they are beautiful ships, I am not a fan of many of the changes in layout. Happy to have another 14 night WBPC cruise booked for Spring 2026. Guess I will stick with the oldies!

Wonder or Magic!! We prefer the 'smaller' ships to the larger ones. Have done 2 PC, several 7 day, and a couple of 4 day cruises. But in 2025 we are really throwing our hats over the windmill. Doing B2B2B, starting with 8 night Alaska , then 10 night Honolulu, then 14 night to Sydney. Haven't decided how to return to US from Australia. DH suggested waiting for the DCL ship return trip in Feb.2026.

Got to get busy buying lottery tickets. :joker:

DW will be on a 3 night Seashore YC in January with DD in a DeLuxe with DD's 2 girls in an Inside. In a spur of the moment a couple of weeks ago I booked an Easter Sunday 4 night Seashore YC. In June we and have a 52nd Anniversary 4 night Seashore Royal Suite for us and a DeLuxe for DD + DSI and another for DS + his friend. A DW's Birthday 4 night Seashore YC a few months later and starting 2026 off with a 4 night on Grandiosa YC. ALWAYS ON STARBOARD SIDE :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Had thought about World America but Miami is a no-no and she has a larger YC so Grandiosa is next.

ENJOY YOUR CRUISING

This will be my 4th time on Seashore in less than 8 months. They bumped 2 of our separate parties to deluxe balconies for free on our January cruise.

I choose Starboard primarily because of the docking situation at Ocean Cay. I also get the thermal spa pass for the duration of any cruise; nothing beats that snowroom at 14 degrees!

We live in central Florida, so although Port Canaveral is close, Miami isn't too bad for some of the itineraries. World America looks like an incredible ship as it's sister, World Europa, has been sailing for a little while.

Docking starboard IS A MUST. Ocean Cay is the best and waking in the morning to the view is priceless. We're Boca Grande area of SW FL for us and even though mileage is almost identical we simply do not care for the traffic situation driving to Miami.

World America will be awesome and I thought that there was a report that MSC has a larger than Royal's Icon of the Seas in the works.

Enjoy the World cruise.

Magic or Wonder. We’ve done four transatlantic crossings on the Magic including the third leg of a b2b2b that included Norwegian Fjords and British Isles prior to a 12-night crossing (plus one TA on the Dream this year), one Panama Canal on the Magic, and two PCs on the Wonder, so we know we can find enough to do onboard these ships for a longer cruise.

For me, it's more about the itinerary than the actual ship.
This is exactly what I came to say. I have only sailed the Wish so far but have an upcoming cruise on the Wonder, but I think I could enjoy any ship, dependent on the itinerary.
