If you could do a 14 night cruise on any ship, which would you pick?

Any of the first four Disney ships. But I lean towards the Fantasy. My reason would be the continuous track for walking/jogging on deck four. Being on the ship for 14 days with all that food requires a lot of exercise to burn off those calories!8-)

I would say the Dream or Fantasy. To me those are interchangeable. Satellite Falls and the Cove Bar are all I need. :)

Wonder or Magic!! We prefer the 'smaller' ships to the larger ones. Have done 2 PC, several 7 day, and a couple of 4 day cruises. But in 2025 we are really throwing our hats over the windmill. Doing B2B2B, starting with 8 night Alaska , then 10 night Honolulu, then 14 night to Sydney. Haven't decided how to return to US from Australia. DH suggested waiting for the DCL ship return trip in Feb.2026.

Got to get busy buying lottery tickets. :joker:
That’s my dream figuring out how to finance staying in Australia/New Zealand until the return cruise. Love the lottery ticket idea.

Recently off the WBTA (13-n) on the Dream and that was LOVELY! (Nod to the PINK Champagne Bar and Bartender, Alberto) If I had to choose another ship, I'd go with the Fantasy. Love the lounges.

We have done a 14 day on Wonder (Panama Canal eastbound), and on the Magic a 10 day TA and 11 day Norway/Iceland in 2015. Those ships are great for longer cruises even if they seem like they don't have as much to do. The Dream class would be fine from my view and maybe a little nicer for a few reasons but it really would come down to what you want to do.

Likely any of the ships would be good but the itinerary and activities would be factors. All cruise lines can make any itnerary work (we have done up to 10 days on non-DCL) so not sure the ship really matters that much within DCL. Comparing DCL to some of the Norwegian and Royal ships would matter to some folks. Some of the activities on those ships would be different than comparing internally.

We have done multiple TA's on the Magic and last May on the Dream, Panama Canal on the Wonder and loved all of them. I think my favorite was the PC on the Wonder but really liked all of them.

Definitely the Magic for us, we have done four transatlantic on her ranging from 11 to 14. Waiting for the next P.C. to become available, in the mean time have to just settle for 7 nights next year on the Fantasy.
Regards Michael

I’d pick one of the newer, bigger ships. 2 weeks is a long time. I’d rather have a bigger ship to explore.

Dream or Fantasy, especially if I could snag 5650. I love that balcony something fierce.

We've been doing lots of shorter itineraries recently, with our last "7 night" actually being a back-to-back, so I'm looking forward to 2025 when we're doing the 7-night on the Treasure and the 10-night Norway cruise on the Fantasy, and then ending the year with a 4-night on the Destiny.

(I did NOT snag 5650 on the Fantasy, and my sons better love me for it, as I decided to get a "real" family stateroom with the larger inside since it will be 4 of us in one stateroom for 10 nights and we're all adults now (well, physically, at least). It'll be the first time we've actually done a true family sized stateroom rather than Cat 4e, so I'm really looking forward to seeing how it compares to a Cat 4E. I am already missing that balcony, though!!).

We did B2B 20 nights on the Magic and 11 nights on the Dream. I loved them both, but really loved the smaller, cozy feeling of the Magic. I love longer cruises in general just to have enough time to settle in and really enjoy the ship and not just hop from port to port.

We've done two TA's 13 and 11 nights, Hawaii 10 nights, Iceland 11 nights and two northern Europeans 12 nights. I still need to do the Panama cruise. I would probably say the Fantasy since it's been 6 years since I've sailed on her.

Holy moly what a dream itinerary!

Lots of great answers across the board; so interesting to see the variety. I feel like I need to set aside a special retirement fund dedicated to Disney Cruises for the time when I no longer have to factor in work and school schedules :P

Yes, we've considered something similar. It would be sooo nice.

I did a TA followed by a 7 night Norway on the Magic years ago that was nice
I would pick the treasure so I could really check that **** out if I couldn’t get that ship I would pick my favorite ship Dream ❤️❤️

It's a dreary day here and I'm fantasizing about being far away on a long cruise. I'm curious -- if you had the opportunity to do a 14 night cruise on any ship (without needing to account for cost or logistics), which would you want to sail on? Why? Is that different than the ship you'd generally call your favorite?

For me, I think my "favorite" and what I'd pick for 14 nights are indeed different! I love love love the Magic and Wonder and would consider those my "favorites", but for a longer itinerary, I think I'd actually choose the Fantasy just to have access to more of the activities and amenities on board.

What about you?
We did a 14 night on the Wonder and had what I am pretty sure is a record number of sea days. We were supposed to have 7 but it was March 2020 and the pandemic got started and 3 of our 5 scheduled ports were cancelled. And yet there were still things I never got around to doing.

If I could live as a guest on either the Magic or Wonder I would. To me both those ships have the best places to just sit and chill (I personally love the port holes outside after hours).

We also did an 11 night on the Magic (more port days though) and both ships really felt like home after so much time. For me it's the difference between going on vacation to a place you've been going to for years and years vs someplace brand new. Both have their merits. But I'll take the familiarity of the Magic and Wonder for a long cruise any day.
