If you could collect anything at all

I want a collection of Svarovski crystal figurines.

One of these days, when DS is grown and I have money to spare, I'm going to have one and put it in a curio cabinet in my dining room.

I have one Svarovski piece now. It's a swan; my mother-in-law bought it for me in Europe. It's a start.

I really love the clam shell holding a pearl. That would be the next one I'd get.

Well, I already collect shoes. And vintage clothing. And sun catchers and wind chimes. And cobalt blue glass pieces. I've also got an interest in antique furniture.

My husband collects old cars -- we've had several old sports cars since we've been married -- right now we have a 67 Mustang that is a never ending collection of our hard earned dollars! Its fun though, and he get such enjoyment from tinkering on it. :)

I'll have to check that out next May on my way down to see the mouse. Thanks:hyper:

Ok, here comes the nerd side of me again: my answer - historical documents. Collecting cars would be cool too.

I would have to say friends. Good ones are hard to come by! I recently moved and find I'm throwing out "stuff." So there's no sense in collecting "things."

I also found after losing so many family members that things don't matter, it's the people that do!!!!

I have a collection of the Lenox Disney spice jars.

I also collect Disney Christmas ornaments.

Oh...and on lazy days...I collect dust bunnies! (They're so cute!!) :Pinkbounc

Wow, there are a lot of interesting posts here. :)

Actually, I have this interest in swords and daggers. I absolutely love the sword that was in the movie Three Muscateers(sp).

I actually DO collect blades. It's fun, but expensive and sometimes annoying to explain to people who think if you collect them, you must be a lunatic. Esp. if you're female.

I also live in MA, and there are a lot of really lame restrictions on what can and cannot be shipped here.

Some of the movie ones run up in the $$ but you can actually find some gorgeous ones fairly inexpensive. There is a shop in MK by CRT that sells some, as well as a shop at IOA.

My Mom gave away all my old toys that I collected as a child.... Barbies, Strawberry Shortcake dolls, Care Bears, Cabbage Patch Kids, etc, etc..... I wish I had them back because they're worth a lot of money now. ::yes::

The only thing I'm currently collecting is Disney stuff... I have all the Gourmet Mickey kitchen stuff and dishes... also I collect old WDW room keys. :)

Oh - I also collect :

Cheesy record album covers from the 40's 50's 60's
Disney stuff
Dragons
Faeries
Circus memorabilia
Stuffed animals
Unicorns
D&D miniatures
Fantasy art

And that's about it. Yes, my home is quite "full"

I still have my Strawberry Shortcake dolls/carrier/house, my Cabbage Patch dolls, and my Glamour Gals. I recently bought my old lunchbox and thermos (Junior Miss) off Ebay and now I have it all displayed in a memoribilia corner in my Guest bedroom.

I would love to have some Lladro figurines. :D

Currently collect Hallmark ornaments and Dept 56 Village Pieces.

::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo pirate: princess:

Disney stuff . . . the snowglobes, art, Lenox figurines, etc.

I collect dolphin figuries and other dolphin related items....but I would LOVE to have real dolphins to study and play with. I love them so much....turned into a 3 yr old when we were at Discovery Cove :) :) puckerup:

Another vote for Disney art! Wow some of it is spectacular!

I collect dolls now, I love them, of course I get kidded a lot that CHUCKIE is going to attack me, but I love them!

Whoever said Vacation Homes is also onto something :teeth:

Movie memorabilia for me. I love props. I also really like looking and thinking about collecting the Disney Store props. That stuff is really neat.
