If you could choose ......

I'll pick MK. Here's hoping the redo of the Tiki room is a good one!

I enjoy the clambake at Cape May Cafe.

Thanks for all of the feedback! My DH and I are going to be in St. Augustine for a week and I just couldn't be so close and not "stop in" atleast. So I booked a room at OKW for one night (bought 10 one-time use points) ...unfortunately, we do have to get back to the rest of the family in St. Augustine. Shucks!

So I'm trying to make the most of my one dayer...I've never done it for just one day! Since I'm planner of the family, I'm holding back my need to create an excel spreadsheet and lay it all out. :lmao: But I would like a general game plan atleast, in my head, so I can make the most of my one day. I do have to keep reminding myself that I have a big trip planned next year at WDW for the whole family AND since I am a member, this isn't my one and only trip ever....it's just so hard!

So far, I'm torn between MK, Epcot and yep - Animal Kingdom. Dinner, I'm leaning towards Liberty Tree Tavern, Ohana and San Angel Inn. It's a dilemma, but you've all given me stuff to think about. Thanks again!:flower3:

Well Now that you say it that way, I have heard of ambitious people that have managed to hop to every park and hit all major attractions in one day. ;)

But I can understand if adding hopper to a one day ticket seems like too much work ;)

I would choose MK normally, but since the construction is occurring, I would choose Disneyland as a VERY close second. My third choice (and second for WDW) would be EPCOT.

Thus in your case, I would see EPCOT, since MK has the construction.

As for restaurants, Blue Bayou at DLR; hands down! :thumbsup2

I'll bet I'll be the only one who'll choose the Animal Kingdom. I could just wander around looking at the animals and enjoying the lush scenery all day. I usually take 3 or 4 rides on KS too, when I'm not wandering thru Panjani FT or Maharaja JT!

You are not the only one - AK is my favourite (then MK) - I would wander all day if I could taking in the atmosphere and the walking trails, love riding EE a couple of times, as well as KS, and it's the best park for me to see Eeyore and Mickey for my yearly photo!! And I have to see Festival of the Lion King every trip as well!

As for dinner - our family favourite is the Whispering Canyon - even though it gets mixed reviews, our family has a tradition of lunch or dinner there every trip, so it's a must - love the cornbread, mashed potatoes and corn on the cob and the guys live for the ribs and beans!! Second would be Boma for the selection and desserts!:cloud9:

I didn't consider DL, Blue Bayou is amazing indeed, especially a waterside table:goodvibes

I would choose MK because it always feels magical to me and allows me to feel like a kid again (temporarily).

I would choose California Grill for a late evening dinner at a window table where I would enjoy a good meal and all the lights of MK.

:flower3: This sounds perfect !

For me it would be Epcot. Dinner could be any number of places, possibly Flying Fish, Yachtsman Steakhouse, or Bluezoo. :thumbsup2

Nope. You aren't alone. I'm going with AK too. :) Funny because the first time I went there I didn't like it at all. But once I got the hang of getting around, I feel in love with it. Honestly, I'm so burned out on MK and the crowds and the strollers. lol.

Restaurant? That's a tough one. I guess I'll go with CG.

Epcot all the way. Soarin' is my favorite a's well a's walking around WS especially at night.

As far as restaurants, I would have to go with California Grill. Great meal and great view of wishes.:goodvibes

If our kids were with us, We'd definately go to Magic Kingdom.

If it was just DH and my self, we'd go to Epcot.

Regardless of kids...we'd eat at Boma...EVERYONE'S happy at Boma :lovestruc
