If you could add a WS country?

I voted for Egypt, but it was a hard choice between that, Thailand, India, and Ireland.

I voted for India - so many of the countries that make up WS are European, and India has such an interesting and unique culture. It's so different from everything they have there already. Ireland or Switzerland wouldn't be that much different from England or France... Plus, can you imagine the stuff they could sell in the stores? Indian art is gorgeous, they could sell saris and all the religious paraphenalia (like Ganesh, the elephant god). Plus mmmmmmmmmm I love me some Indian food!!

I was torn between India and Russia, India because of the incredible visual and culinary impact it could make on the WS, Russia because it is such a great unknown to so many of us. I flipped a coin and voted Russia.

My choice wasn't on there - I think they need to add another Mexico right next to Germany. DH and I love to grab a margarita and stroll around the WS; however by the time we get to Germany our drinks are almost gone...last month we never did make it all the way around because we had to turn back around for another round of 'ritas!

I'd love to see Australia represented as a land in AK (think of the "Walkabout trek" they could have with koalas, wallabies, wombats, tassie devils, kookaburras, platypuses, etc!)

To me, WS countries seem to showcase food and culture more than anything, and Australia really doesn't have much to offer in that department that isn't already represented by UK and USA. So... for WS, I really think we need something a little less "European/Western." Something different.

So I think I'd have to vote for something exotic like Thailand, Brazil, or India.

Although I voted for India, Greece really has the potential for an attraction like a Minotaur's Maze or a boat ride on the River Styxx, or something to do with Hercules. Greek Myths are a rich source for a fun ride/movie/attraction.

Some really good selections but I choose Greece for it's Acropolis and the lovely Greek Isles. I was hedging on Australia, Russia and Thailand as well!

Egypt definately has a rich culture for a cool exhibit. A pyramid and/or sphynx would look cool at WS. Of corse, there could be mummies.

I think Australia would make a great addition to Animal Kingdom, so I voted for Switzerland--would love to see a Matterhorn ride there and the gingerbread buildings and maybe waterfalls.

We could plunk the matterhorn right in the middle there between mexico and Canada and have it be the centerpiece. And on the world showcase side we could have a balcony up there that fit say about 30 people and they'd be able to have a desert social while watching illuminations. Theme it like a Swiss resort or something. Soimething like $100 a head?

I voted for India. Having been there numerous times and absolutely loved it each time, I would love to be able to partake of some incredible food and some Indian wine. So many fashions are inspired by traditional Indian fashion, jewelry there is beautiful and you can't even think about India without the spirituality of the country as a whole.

How about this for something different...

instead of a new "modern"(current) country, why not add a country from the "ancient" world? My vote is for a "Roman" world. You could have a chariot race ride. A pavillion could be built inside a small replica of the coliseum or temple like building.
