if you carry Pal Mickey, how old are you???

I got two during the great deal and I am wondering if my kids will think I am strange for doing it. It looks like so much fun. If you carry it (not for your kids) why do you like it?

I bought the HCoE edition on the first morning of my trip back in June. And I'm a whopping 22 years old. I had just graduated from college the month before. I like it because it's informative (for ex., the lockers at the front of the Muppets store in MGM is the actual prop from the Muppets Take Manhattan movie; never knew that before Pal Mickey told me), it's funny (in a totally cheesy kind of way), and it is a welcome distraction from the never ending wait in some lines. If a recent college student isn't too embarassed to carry one around for a week+, no one should be! Tell your children that and maybe they won't tease you.

Some pieces of advice: never hang him around your neck, if you have the recent edition that comes with a lanyard. You'll be in terrible pain within a couple of days (I learned this after day 3 and my neck STILL hurts sometimes, to be honest ). Also, bring a safety pin or two because he'll fall right off the lanyard if you don't secure him. His batteries died towards the end of the 3rd full day (10-12 hour days) in the parks, so bring extras. Also can be kinda hard to hear around people, so you'll probably have to hold him up to your ear.

we had one on our trip in sept. and i carried it the majority of the time with the beltclip...i'm 39! . you will see lots of adults with pal mickeys.

i also learned the doors in the muppet shop (the ones up high on the wall) are original props from the muppet show! did not know that!

When we were there at the end of November, I dont recall a single kid with one, but I saw tons of adults with them. I didnt realize what they were at first, then figured it out. I thought they were so cute.

We are 32 and 41 (today is his bday) and we were trying to see who could carry Pal Mickey more we had such fun with him. But man CM seem to despise him.

My kids are very close to your kids ages. They opened Pal Mickey's yesterday and were very excited! I had nothing to worry about. But thanks for all the help. I can't wait to hear Mickey tell all the wonder of the worlds!!
