If you buy an add-on from DVC does it include '04 points?

Just wondering... I was reading another post and they said they bought a small add-on direct through Disney and it included 2004 points. We have an April use year and if we bought say 30 points thru DVC would we get 04 points or 05 points...?

For an April UY, you would get the 2005 points. It's those that have not yet reached their 2005 UY that start with the 2004 points (Oct-Dec UY).

With an April use year, you would get 2005 points if you bought now. The only people who would get 2004 points are the people who have not yet gotten to their 2005 use year yet, such as people with September, October, November, or December use years.

Thanks for the quick replies... Just thought it would be great to have some "extra" to stash for next year... Looking forward to our first "official visit home at OKW" in November.
