You may have seen on future posts, but I did have a travel agent who got me a $150.00 back on my credit card. I will use her again. My flights were booked already and all the seats were taken on the return flight so she must not have canceled and rebooked, maybe she just got it changed. When I looked on the web site my return flight was not available but I just shot an e-mail to the travel agent anyway and she wrote back saying I would see $150.00 on my card. I would ask again.

I called yestarday and recieved credit toward future travel. I was told I could not get money back on CC. After reading all the posts I wrote a letter to the refund department address given earlier. I told them that I had read that since it was a sale and that nothing on my reservation changed that I thought I was eligible for credit on my VISA. I included my reciepts.

I will let you know when I hear anything. That $160 will come in handy at WDW, hope I get it back.

unfortunately, my rates did not go down flying SWA out of Phila. on May 15th. They actually went up. Wish i could have gotten a lower rate, but I better be happy with what i got! ($79 one way) Great for all those that got a refund, i know how that $ will come in handy at Disney!!!! We'll be there soon!!!!!!!!!

I went to SW.com and - as expected - my flight was unavailable. Has been for some time. So I checked another time that day and on my return trip and they were both lower.

So I followed the instructions given here earlier to change my air reservation over the internet. Once I selected the flights I wanted to change, I was given new flights to choose from. My flight which was previously shown as unavailable was now available. Once I selected it, and finished the process, the new fare was about $120 (for 2 pass) less. The computer said that this was nonrefundable and would be available for future use. **my question here is: Do I receive vouchers for this? How do I prove I have this available for future use?**

Now my sister had a reservation on the same flight - when I went through the same procedures for her - her airfare stayed the same. I believe hers was one rate (like Promotional) and mine was a different (maybe Internet specials).

Looking for feedback on her situation and also my above question about future use.

You now have ticketless travel funds for future use. You can check your credit amount by going to the travel center and clicking on ticketless travel funds. You enter your confirmation number and the name of the person who used their credit card to purchase the previous airfare. It will come up with the credit amount and the use by day. You can then choose to book new airfare using this credit.

I was told if I did not use my ticketless travel funds by the use by date, that I could call customer relations and get a one time six month extension in the form of travel vouchers. If you have travel vouchers you need to book by phone and then go to the airport and apply the vouchers.

Now what about the fact that my sisters reservation isn't showing a lower fare? Do y'all think that is because only the Internet fare is being further reduced and not the Promotional Fare? She might just have to call SWA - I got my discount, her discount might become her problem!!

Thank you so much for the SWA information. I just called and recieved a $300 travel credit. Since my flight was non-refundable they couldn't refund my money, but I have a year to use the credit any where any way! My husband and I are going to plan a weekend get away for ourselves with that! I still can't believe! Our original fare was only $149 for Manchester, NH to Orlando and I was so happy with that! It doesn't matter if the sale fare is available on your flights either! Hurray! Thanks everyone!

Wow. Our flight from PHL to MCO dropped from $79 to $49 each way. I called SWA and was given the option of a credit for a future flight or a refund on my CC ($240!!). I took the refund.

Since every one was bragging about the good rates they got from southwest i wanted to get in on telling my great rates.....
We are flying from New Orleans on Southwest and our rates are $39 one way for each person. For the four of us our total price was $386.00. I thought that was a great deal. We cant drive for that considering the price of gas now days. Just wanted to pass on my great rates i cant help but tell them i was so excited!!

I do not see a choice for internet special. I booked the fare under the promational link at the Southwest site. Ours was $109 one way and $99 the other. StL to MCO on Aug 20 returning Aug 28. I do not see anything less, is there somewhere else I sould be looking? I got flights for mom, dad, and Papa, but we will be driving unless I could find that $49 fare! If anyone can help I will be very greatful as I hate to drive!

You guys are truly awesome!!!! I got a $180.00 credit for future travel. Our original rate of $79 (one way) went down to $49. That's unbelievable! So I guess we will just have to take another trip to Disney, huh? I am so thankful to these boards b/c I would never have thought that I could have done that. So even if you go online and don't see your flight as available, call anyway. That's what I did!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you. You guys are the best!!!!

The "cheap" flights we are talking about with SW end mid June : (

Unless you change your dates to May or June, you prob won't see those fairs. Some of the other air's are offering similar savings, but I don't know when theirs ends. I imagine they don't need to offer such cheap flights once all the kids are out of school and travel picks up to Orlando.

Why should we check on Tuesday- is that the typical day of the week when they change fares?
I have the chance to go to WDW for a mini-trip in June-"business" trip (16-20th)
We can get the $49 fare on the way there but the cheap fare ends before our return- If I can get $98 RT we will definately go.
