You all are great. I just called and talked to someone named Janice. She was very helpful. I couldn't get all of my refund back because I had added a day to my trip back in May. But she did credit my CC for $260.00 for this new rate!!! YEAH!!!

Now that sure is alot of mickey bars!!

i called as soon as i saw this post last night and was told that there was only one seat available on my flight out at the $49 rate... and i would have to cancel my $79 seats in order to book the cheaper seats but there was no guarantee that it would still be available, even if i did it simultaneously... there were no cheaper return flights unfortunately...

as far as getting a refund vs. a swa credit... i was told that one had to book the *same* exact flights in order to qualify for a refund... if i switched from the 7am to the 9am to get the cheaper seat, then i would only get a credit... seems like an awful lot of rules and fine lines to get your $ back... when i booked our tix i was happy w/our $200 rd trip fares so i will just stay happy with it (although i will keep checking! LOL!)

Are there better days to fly on and so forth. I just bought five round trip tickets on SW and it was around $200 for each of us. I am flying out on a Saturday and returning the next Friday. Thanks for the help. MHK

Usually they post the days that the fares are the best. Most of the time with the cheapie fares any day is good, if the fare is avaliable..
Plug in the dates and see what comes up.

I got the fare refunded to the credit card. Thank-you Cindy of SWA. It saved my parents $216! That's a lot of money!!!! Thanks Gail for the encouragement.
