How on top of things do you think your guide should be?

He called on thursday, we spoke for a while and I asked him to call me back on friday to start the buying process.

Still waiting for a call back and Im a bit annoyed

Does it really matter, once you buy, you will probably never speak to him again. He doesn't want a friend, he wants a sale and right now they have buyers coming out of the woodwork. Maybe he is processing the buyers who don't have questions or maybe he is doing the larger contracts first.

Give him a call. If you hate the guy, call the sales office and ask for a different Guide.

When I was interested in VGF, my guide called me back multiple times and sent emails. I would give them a call and see what's up.

Give a call...maybe there is a reason for the delay...I will typically follow up a day later if I want something and don't wait for them to call me...possible he got tied up Friday and was off the past few ays...

I have the same guide for 13 years and he is awesome (Chris Mansour) and he always calls me back when I leave a message.

My guide Stephanie is TOTALLY on top of it. She emails, calls, etc... acts like it's the end of the world (it's not) if she doesn't get back to me within 2 hrs. She gives me back up contacts if she's going to be out of the office.

I'd say call back and you can request another guide--if you need Stephanie's full name I can message it to you.

I did call this morning and received a call back 2 hours ago. He said he would call back in 30 minutes.... yeah... it hasnt happened!!

You'd think someone in sales would...um...be up for a sale and do whatever it takes to get it...guess not so much. I'd call and speak to another guide. My guide was too pushy and annoying (calling when I wasn't looking to buy)...I researched on this forum and found a really old thread (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2452677&highlight=joan+lane ) that gave guide recommendations. The one that was most popular (I've seen her name come up in other forums too) is who I called and asked for when we were looking to buy direct several months back. She was great!!
