and dont like big drops...how is the MUMMY? Is it more part roller coaster or more part "ride"? (IF that makes sense!!) ha ha!

I havent been on it yet, but from what I hear, there arent many big drops, I think after the launch there is a decent sized one, but thats all.

lI'm a big chicken when it comes to coasters, but I promised myself, for my kids sake, to go on all*most of the new rides with them so they can try it out.

I absolutely LOVED IT!!!!
From what my husband told me about RRC at MGM, it is different from that. There is only a dark element that is similar. That's what he said.

I was reading this board day and night, devouring whatever I could about the ride. We had the FOTL pass and it took us ten minutes on line. When we finally were seated, my mouth was so dry....

But then I was prepared for a big drop. There is only one big drop. Did I mention I do not like the drops? I can take the twists and turns and loops and corkscrews, but not the drops.
The "drop" in this one was maybe Three Seconds Long,...I hear it's a 25 foot drop, but then I heard it was 50, so I didn't know what to expect.

I would characterize this as more of a Thrill Ride than a sincere Coaster. Whatever it is catagorized as, it is awesome and As One Chicken To Another, I Highly Recommend The Mummy!!!!!!!

The biggest drop is 25 ft, which is approximately the height of the building.

Thanks......Corryn...I am with you......chicken when it comes to coasters and drops......I will have to try the Mummy since it sounds like it is not a "true" coaster and not alot of BIG drops...One I can handle!!!
